I think the belief is the organizations he was with hampered him by not being great situations. He also wasn't Bowles's guy, Bowles drafted both HIS safeties this year.

 Not saying Pryor has all world talent but Mitchell and Coleman were both regarded as BAD players before coming here. Albeit, Coleman had a turn around season in that KC defense the year before we got him

James Harrison was cut by the Steelers three times and by the Ravens once before becoming the Defensive Player of the Year. 

Surely, Pryor has the potential to at least add depth.

Yep, our current depth is a rookie UDFA (so obviously NO ONE wanted him) that was cut by safety needing Cincy who ironically was arrested for punching a cabbie.  Warm fuzzies all around.

Pryor got claimed by the Jags off of waivers.
