Matt Kalil is not worth the money

top dawg

I thought him and williams was bad but, kalil was the worst especially as protecting cams blind side. I would rather put moton at LT, teams know the best success is to have a speed rusher attacking cam from the blind side. It ain't about experience, put whoever in that can move there damn feet the best.

Not a lot of talk how terrible Williams was which is somewhat understandable as he wasn't given a huge contract like Kalil was, but I'm ready to put Moton at RT and see what he's got.

I'd move Kalil to RT and try Moton at LT in practice. I'd let him go up against Pep and Addison and see how he holds up. If he can hold his own, I'd give him the starting job. Matt's making too much money to bench him at this point. Besides, he may be more effective if he isn't going up against the opposing teams best pass rusher every week.

Kalil didn't have a good game but let's not go off half cocked. Let's see how he does in the next couple of weeks before we freak out.

Yeah I know...I might as well be shouting into the wind.

Weren't you one of the people who flew off the handle the moment Hurney did anything?

    • I’m old enough to remember when I wanted to draft Njoku We brought back Mitchell and officially kept Tremble. Mitchell Evans isn’t going anywhere. Sanders who knows, he was awful last year I fully agree we need a better TE. This room is awful Njoku would be a massive help in the red zone. However it really seems like Dan and the FO prefer to go young on offense
    • You’re underselling Loveland imo. He’s so damn good. You can line him out wide and count on him to win 1 v 1. I don’t see that from Sadiq. Loveland is going to go over 1000 yards next season I’m not overly asking for a WR3. It’s just one of the few directions Morgan could go in round 1.  Let’s say Thieneman, Fano and Cooper are all on the board it’s a tough decision. I just don’t see how this team would take Sadiq over some of those guys given the way they run their offense. Our tight end room is easily bottom of the league so I can definitely see why someone would want a tight end though. At one point during the season I was on the Sadiq train as well. I just don’t think value wise for us specifically it makes sense given our team as a whole As far as tight ends go in this draft I really like Max Klare. Very smooth mover
    • Some of you need some serious help with the way 9 lives rent free in your heads I know for a fact, Dan loves Bryce. Bryce is his guy. This offense is very young and they’re asking Bryce to do a lot. With Idzik taking over playcalling duties it’s a move that is another step in the process of Bryce taking control of the offense. 24 years old. This youth movement on offense and putting more on 9’s shoulders is going to pay off in the long run
