Oh yeah like who?

And the President isn't spewing opinions. Re-read his tweets. He's telling the NFL what to do.

Please show me the Executive Order to have NFL Teams 'fire' their players?

It is politics, he is saying what many many NFL fans are thinking which is how he got elected in the first place.  No coincidence he said this as red meat in a stump speech.

On one hand, the narcissistic attention whore that he is, Trump is getting the controversy he wants. On the other hand, he is unfortunately speaking as president and his comments have to be condemned and rejected by the entire NFL.  It is great to see the unity shown so far this day.  I hope that JR can stop being a businessman just for one day, and realize that he can play a bigger positive role here. This isn't about conservatives and liberals. Trump is a crook who conned those who voted for him, playing on their weaknesses and fears.  He doesn't really give a crap about the flag or the country, or else he wouldn't have colluded with the Russians and he wouldn't insult daily more than half the Americans who didn't vote for him.

If North Korea launches one of his Rockets towards say, Kaepernicks former NFL City(feasible), this kneeling stupidity will stop quickly as they all rush to Trump and our Military and Law Enforcement to protect them.

rushing to Trump and law enforcement for protection is like Cam running to Von Miller to stop getting sacked

I think police brutality is a serious issue, but I don't understand what the national anthem or the flag has to do with it. Is there a hidden clause in the Constitution that awards medals to bad cops? What exactly does that gesture mean, and what does it accomplish? If that is the case, everyone everywhere should take a knee during their country's anthem because bad people all over the world are doing bad things as I write this

I don't even get the symbolism. Correct me if I am wrong, but the national anthem is to honor the military right? Cops are doing bad things, so fugg the military? Is that it? I blame our school system more than anything lol

Mark Cuban said it about the NFL. The pigs are getting fat, and hogs are about to get slaughtered. NFL head is starting to eat it's own tail. Police brutality has been a problem way before this president who half the country voted for, and majority have family/friend in the military. Good luck with that Goddell.

And I don't care if half-witted fraud Kaepernick walks on water, he was dead to me the day he mocked Cam in that playoff game :)

This has nothing to do with an executive order or law

You read what he personally said, of course that's not law. But it wasn't an opinion either. An opinion is I believe this should happen. Trump is trying to use his influence as a president knowing his followers on the NFL to make changes. When you tell Goodell to tell them to stand or mention firing/suspending players that knee (while commenting on ratings as if yeah that wouldn't affect the ratings) it goes way past that speaking from a personal belief. These weren't at a rally or speech, it was yesterday and this morning tweets.

The flag represents the ideals of this country, not just to honor the military. By kneeling, they are trying to raise awareness that the American dream, particularly racial inequality is still a serious problem.  Just because they are millionaires and well off, should they forget where they came from or millions of Americans who continue to be subjected to discrimination and unfair treatment by some members of law enforcement.  Of course there are plenty of good cops, but when the cop who kills an unarmed black men gets off without any serious punishment then it shows there is a major gap in the justice system.

Friday night was the politically rally this started at, he followed it up with tweets designed to express what many are thinking/feeling about this mess.

No different than Obama's infamous ''....They acted stupidly" comment which really is where the Division we are talking about started.

Which is all based on a lie perpetuated by race hustlers and the media.

Harvard disproved the 'blacks are targeted by cops' myth not so long ago.

I watch sports to escape work and life. Last place politics should be in is sports and places of worship. Idgas if you stand, sit or curse this country. It is their 1A right but I do prefer a nonpolitized game and I know who not to interact with. TB this thread.
