Because this is a football discussion board. If you want to do a stream of consciousness thread in the lounge go for it. But nobody really wants to read this stuff in this forum.

It's about our Earth and our football team. No reason they need those bright lights on when they're not playing.

So, what is it? The last person out, turns off the lights. So that must mean there are people there working at all hours. Or they just don't care about Mother Earth, and that sort of thing.

There is no reason anybody needs to be at the stadium at 1 a.m. when there's not a game.

Um...okey dokey there Cotton. Stop me if you've heard this one before. Coaches often sleep on their couches. Also, we are on a short week. Long hours spent tweaking this team, is long hours well spent.

Now, with that said. In the immortal words of that one guy. "Think before you hit submit.". Maybe you could, oh I don't know, maybe get a tweeter account. Sounds like it is right up your alley. Right in your sweet spot. Just your cup of tea.

    • I don't really care as much about athleticism and arm strength.  While Murray might be better in that regard, I think Bryce has enough of both to do well in the NFL. The main reason this trade reference is silly is the money and the fact that Murray has been around a long while and hasn't proven that he can perform consistently when the game is on the line.  Bryce has shown that he can play well in the clutch (in the few opportunities he has had).
    • If Bryce can continue the level of play he showed after the benching, then there's a good shot we at least compete to win the division. Tampa is a solid team but even last year in our week division they went 10-7 and will be on their 4th OC in as many years. The Saints are a mess and are in a mist of a half rebuild half still trying to compete mode and will probably be starting a rookie QB. The Falcons are a wild card as they have a really good offense but are we really crowning Michael Penix as a franchise QB after just 3 games?  The only thing I want out of this season is for Bryce to come out and without a shadow of a doubt prove he's our franchise QB. If that happens then most of the fanbase would be happy and I believe we'd be in a good place record wise at the end of the season. Maybe falling just short of winning the division with a chance to sneak in as a wild card team.
