If we lose the next 2 games

Do you think JR would fire Rivera midseason if we lose the next 2 games?  At 4-5 and a 4 game slide I can see this happening and Wilks being promoted to Interim Head Coach.  This team is too talented to be playing this way.

Heck, I'm not convinced he'll fire Rivera at season's end if we finish 4-12.

The way Rivera is acting he is super secure.

Agree, unfortunately.

He's got another year on his contract, right? We already know JR's attitude about paying two coaches.

He is not going anywhere.

Edit: Short of a revolt in the locker room with the captains taking the issue to JR. That might get it done.

Which would be  good in that it would  free us from Rivera, but given that the next head coach would be chosen by Marty Hurney,  it's not a guarantee of progress.

Unfortunately, I think there's zero chance any changes are made mid-season. I just hope that if the wheels fall off JR will push the reset button. Unfortunately, I just don't have much confidence in that either.

Trust me, I want us to win both games.  I really don't think we will lose the next 2.  I really just wanted to see if people thought JR would fire a coach midseason

I think I remember Richardson saying he would not fire a head coach in midseason.  However, a 6-10 season or worse I think the plug would be pulled, and with good reason.
