they have a better run defense than passing defense?

we'll run at them. no one will ever expect it.

Except on the obvious 3rd & 1, well run play action and try to hit either Bersin or Funchess deep, because they'll both be running fades on same side

You have to look a little deeper into the stats IMHO, especially at what they do on defense.

Frankly, this is a bad matchup for our Oline. Suh is still a nightmare and that allows Wake to be very disruptive of the edge. They are 4-4 despite their offense, but Cutler can be explosive. Their defense is legit, and Carolina is running basically a ball control offense trying to run the clock and rely on the defense late. What's the best way to defeat a team that does that? Force thee and outs by putting them on in 2 and 3rd and long and get to the QB.

Like I said, Miami is kind of a vortex of weirdness. They don't many things well, but what they do well, they do it very well.  That's why they are so up and down. They have players that can absolutely dominate at individual matchups, but just not a lot around them.

I think the Dolphins aren't great let me say that first.

But I think the stats are a bit of a smoke screen because the team can disrupt games and win.

I think the biggest factors are Devante Parker coming back. I don't see Worley,  Munnrlynn, Seymour hanging with him. Maybe a highlight play from him on a mismatch.

Suh is not consistent but he can disrupt at any moment not a doubt. Turner is banged up, if he did go out Suh would have a field day and we know we don't really adjust the O line focusing on one guy too much during the game.

Special Teams. I think they have more of a chance scoring on ST than we do. The absolute only reason we would get a turn over on special teams if is the other team made a mistake with the ball.

Pros..

I think at least if not both running backs can show up on those 6 or 7 yard runs that get us going. Stew had a bad week, he's no dummy.. Stewart is a very aware and intelligent guy. He's a beast. Theres ups and downs. I think he has some great physical runs this game.
