It is still probably a little to early to tell whether he is going to help on the field. I do know this, Hollis is a light-hearted individual who will probably go a long way toward improving the attitude of the team and keeping everybody on an even keel.

I don't think there is any question that he helped. He was taking on double teams and allowing everybody else to make plays, which is exactly why they signed him and exactly what we have been missing since Kemo got hurt. I was watching him on one of Carolina's sacks, and he took two O-linemen into the backfield so Campbell had nowhere to step up. That's getting it the hell done.

He was on the field a whole lot longer than Hayden. I think Thomas even started and I only remember seeing Hayden on the field for a couple plays.

I do remember seeing Hayden doing a pretty nice pirouette (sp?) while Portis ran by him once. It was rather graceful.

      The good thing about replacing a bad player is you really have nothing to lose. If their replacement is bad so what, you didn't get much worse and probably saved money.

      I came over from the old Panthers Insider site. When Fox Sports bought that platform it slowly just started dying plus the guy who ran that site was dealing with some pretty significant health issues so the whole thing just slowly fell apart. Quite a few of us migrated over here. Not sure how many are still around.  I miss that place. It struck a nice balance of having enough active posters to keep productive conversation flowing but didn't have so much traffic that you end up with a lot of trolling BS. This place is getting there though since we shutdown new registrations but at some point we're going to have to open it back up or we'll watch this place slowly die off too as posters fall off for one reason or another. We just have to figure out a way to filter out the spam bots. It was a never ending battle to ban the spam bots to keep then from overrunning the site. You'd think they'd be a little more strategic. I mean, if you fill a site with nothing but spam people are just going to stop coming so it's not a sustainable model. But nope, every one of them makes dozens of duplicate threads filling up pages upon pages as soon as their account goes live.

      lol...I don't remember that.  Although recalling what I had for breakfast yesterday is sometimes a challenge.  Hope it was a positive thing.
