So, they send Russell off for a play to get checked out after that hit. Yet, he comes right back after only a single play. 

How does that work?

Are they blowing off the "check him out"?

There is no way to check out somebody that quickly.

To quote the great one above, announcers are talking about this again and showed the replay of Russell walking in and out of the tent. 

Is this some kind of rules violation related to protocol?
