Admit it, some of you WANTED the Panthers to lose today

It's pretty sad really. There have been a lot of people posting like they're almost more disappointed that we WON instead of lost today because it apparently set the Fire Fox/Hurney/Jake/Peppers movement back.

You guys need to relax. Those four guys, among others, probably won't be here next season. Wins will be at a premium for this team this year, enjoy them when they happen and remember to always root for your team to win first, other things be damned.

Just dont care for how they won. They did nothing today that says to me they have turned it around.

on offense. The defense has shown for a couple of weeks now that they were ready. all that they had yet to do was stop the run, and they did that this week, as well as getting to the QB for 5 sacks. the Defense is ready, the offense, not so much

I understand where you're coming from, but you can't totaly discount what the Panthers did today. I think rallying from a 17-2 deficit in the last 17 minutes has to be worth something

That's not what I said at all kiddo. I've never wanted the Panthers to lose a game in their history.

Yeah right. Saying the coach won't be here next year and that wins will come at a premium is wanting the team to win out.

I'm as down on this team as anyone, don't get me wrong. But the haters here have run rampant.

    • Trade up for a project was dumb, he's gonna be 25 next month. By the time you're deciding on whether he's worth the 5th year option or a big contract you're already gonna be thinking about moving on soon either way.
    • I mean this is legit AF statement....you don't spend that draft capital on a project just like you don't trade up for an injured RB either, which was done in the same draft.  That draft IMO was a necessary evil for DM to learn from his mistakes (I think he did but some may not). Also I have to mention I'm a big Coker fan and think getting him as an UDFA was obv a steal.  Coker is the better WR2 at this point as Legette and its not even debatable unfortunately.  Give him year 3 but don't expect much from him.  Continue in the offseason with adding as much talent and competition on the roster as possible including WR.  Or just trade his ass for peanuts and continue to build roster by any means.......
    • Losing him was a huge loss. Look at how the Bears went from a 5 win team to now a 11 win team. The Lions offensive line is bad this year, secondary is bad and Campbell going for it on 4th down all the time has cost them games instead of taking the Field Goals. Goff is inconsistent as well.
