I don't mind ball control, within reason,  but we tend to let team's stay around too much for my liking. Many will put that blame squarely on the coaches,  but the players have to be able and disciplined to execute a ball-control offense efficiently. I hope we can do it.

One thing I will say is that I'm very glad Mister miser will be gone.

You don't have to be a Delhomme guy to except he was part of the reason we went to the superbowl. When Hurney was allowed to play FA he did well. It's just JR didn't let him do it for long because we invested in a Center that didn't pan out. People forget also Ken Lucas and Gamble were one of the best CB units for a few years. Smith eventually ruined that though.

It actually has been weird when you go from Smitty to scrub city at the WR position. We are used to seeing HoF play and now have to endure the tipped interceptions and tons of footballs bouncing off shoulder pads. I swear man if I was a WR coach at that level you'd get benched for not catching with your hands.
