What about Julio Jo... uh I mean Devin Funchess? What did he do today?

7 years and we’re talking about guys like Kaelin Clay and Brenton Bersin making catches on a playoff clinching drive...

This organization is pathetic

I mean when you have no real threat outside Funchess and Olsen of course the defense is going to key in on those guys.

The KB trade was made with the hopes both Samuel and Byrd remain healthy, which would actually give us a dang good receiving corps. Of course injuries will hurt.

But the real culprit was Shula today. Called the worst game I’ve ever seen, and that’s saying a lot.

Funchess Samuel and Byrd isn’t a “dang good recieving crops”...

100 of our 160 passing yards came from these guys, plus Byrd’s kickoff return

Bersin - 3 catches, 45 yards

Byrd - 1 catch, 31 yards (plus kickoff TD)

Clay - 2 catches, 24 yards

Those receiving numbers are not impressive when viewed on a stat sheet, but we would have lost the game if those guys hadn’t stepped up today (especially Clay and Berson in the 2nd half). Every catch they made was crucial to our win. If Byrd doesn’t run the KO back in the 1st half we probably would have lost the game.

I’m glad you took the time to give them each a shout out

However, those numbers aren't exactly stellar by NFL quarterbacking standards. Even though the Panthers backdoored their way into the postseason in 2025 as NFC South champions with an 8-9 record, Young's performance was up-and-down.
