I don't believe the best QB coach in the world with Cam would matter.

Garrett must have something on Jones. Even ego which Jones has in abundance,wouldn't totally explain his reluctance to can Garrett at some point.

Unfortunately I fear that may be true. He should be making the biggest effort to fix his own mechanics. With 100 million in the bank and another potential 100 million contract in a few years, he could hire anyone in the world to work with him in the offseason to get things straight.

Jones thinks it reflects really well on him that one of his former players is a head coach.

Image is a big deal in Jerry's world.

I guess he has weigh that against how it reflects on him to be perennially out of the playoffs on his image as an owner.

He handed the team over to Bill Parcells for a while based on everybody in the operation basically begging him to let somebody with a football background handle it.

Parcells didn't win a Super Bowl, so he felt justified in believing that his method was just as good as Parcells was.

It's all about his ego. It only counts if he accomplished it.

Wilson has long been considered one of the better quarterback coaches in the league. It's speculated that he and other coaches that are being let go are scapegoats for Jason Garrett.

Wilson and Rivera have never worked together but they played against each other as division rivals for several years when Wilson was with the Vikings.

Won't lie. I'd can Ken Dorsey for Wilson in a heartbeat.

Edit: My dates were off. Wilson and Rivera actually did work together for three years in Chicago (04-06). Wilson was the quarterback coach and Rivera was the defensive coordinator.

Dorsey is horrendous. Cam needs someone else teaching him. I have no idea how Dorsey has been given this long.
