I waited a couple days to start my usual post game thread. I know tension was high and guys were in their feelings. Some people needed to vent, which I understand.

Anyway, I thought it was a great game. Thought Cam was ON in a big way. His accuracy was consistent. He made the right reads. He dropped dimes on guys, who didn't always pay him back by making a play. One of the better games I've seen him play since 2015. He played well enough to win, the offense just stalled consistently in the red zone. Be it drops, blocking, or play calling, just couldn't close the door.

Your front 7 had a game for the ages. It was clear they weren't going to let Ingram/Kamara beat them. Dare Drew Brees to beat you? That's a tough call, but they saw the other movie twice and it had the same ending. Can't continue to hope it changes. The secondary just really needs some work, which I've pointed out all season. Bradberry is decent, but the other 2 corner spots and both safties could use some attention.

All in all, great divisional showdown in the playoffs. I couldn't have been to upset with a loss, being that we haven't been above .500 in 3 years. It's nice to just be playing good ball again. Congratulations on the great season and making it to the postseason. Here's to you getting knocked out of the playoffs by the eventual SB champs! Lol.

Who Dat!

Kendricks is no Kuechly. Interested to see how they play Kamara out of the backfield.

Nobody's Kuechly. But Barr and Kendricks may at this point be as good as TD and Luke, with TD's play declining. Barr and Kendricks both quite a bit better than TD at this point.

And they have two of the best DEs in the game along with a very solid interior. No KK Short caliber player on their line but overall their DL is better than ours.

One elite corner along with 3 other above average corners and the best safety in the league with another above average safety.

On offense, their line is clicking, Keenum is playing damn good football, they have a very solid two headed rushing attack (much better than ours), and two of the best WRs in the game to go along with a solid TE in Rudolph.

Sorry but I just don't see you beating them in their house. I think it'll look a lot like the Vikings-Rams and Vikings-Falcons games earlier this year. And this isn't even me being anti-Aints Panthers homer. I really think the Vikings are the team to beat this year. In the entire NFL. We got them at home when they were fading off a long stretch of road games. You get them in MN coming off a bye, well rested and ready to go.

It's not your fault Clay. You should not have been on the field. It is my fault. I did not want to deliver the greatest moment in panther history. I wanted no part of that. I choked

Yeah, I've got Sunday Ticket so I've watched a lot of Vikings games. I'm not sold we beat them. If I had to bet it would be on the Vikings.

But it's game week, so we're going balls deep in that ass.

I can see Thielen and Diggs torching your average corners right now, with ease. Lattimore has faced a ton of chumps. Julio walked all over him too aside from the butt pick luck.

Julio didn't walk all over him, despite game stats. He won some 1 on 1s and Lattimore won some 1 on 1s. Lattimore gave up 3 catches in the first game and 4 in the second when he was the primary defender on Julio.

It's ok,  you guys have two good seasons left before Brees retires,  so enjoy your moment now, because the day Brees announces his retirement, our franchise QB will just be going on 32 years old and in the prime of his life and career.

So have your moment, heck, even win the SB again for all I care, in two years when Brees is finished, it's back to the cellar for you guys.

Oh and btw, the fact this loss caused the firing of our inept OC makes it so SO worth it. Good luck in Minny, enjoy it.

I think we're doing a decent job of building for once he's gone, but the transition will suck.
