What Do You Think About Getting Isaiah Crowell RB from Browns?

All this talk about Terrell Pryor got me to thinking about the 2016 browns. Who was doing the work on the ground then when Pryor was getting it done through the air? Isaiah Crowell .

Dude will be 25 and a free agent. Stewart will be 31 next year and has been declining in YPC over the last several seasons. Do you think we could could cut him and sign a free agent RB? Or will they trust mccaffrey to try to take over the reigns? Love CMC to death but he displayed 0 power and we need a young back of the future who can do everything.

Yes....I was actually gonna do this thread so good on you.

I think that would be a good option  and can save us a draft pick. Take a #1WR in this FA class, Crowell, and then focus on DE, LT, S, possible #2 TE in the draft.(draft another WR too probably)

I think the front office doesn't read message boards and whatever we say isn't going to influence them one way or the other. We were a better team with Stewart in, despite what people said of CAP and CMC.

Oh poo I'm in the wrong place, I was for sure thinking that my opinions were being considered by NFL employees.

Our passing game was better without KB but was still one of the worst in the league...saying we were better with Stew means nothing when we are ranked 31st in the league in terms of our RB rush yardage. We need to improve there regardless who which shitty WR or RB we had in.

Jonathan Stewart Seasonal Yards Per Carry

2014 : 4.6

2015 : 4.1

2016: 3.8

2017 : 3.4

2018 :  ?? ( following the trend it would be 3.0 or 3.1 lol)

    • I dont think people realize how hard it is to find a consistent starting QB in the NFL. Byrce will not heart us to a SB but I do think he can manage to get us one or close..go all in on defense and change the Offensive passing game and play calls. I really think our biggest problem is our HC.  Take New Orleans QB for example, switch him and Bryce and I promise you it'll look similar or worse. New Orleans OC is levels ahead of Canales. And as far as the draft goes, in this division with as much rb talent as we face ..the answer...this guy:    Pick up a couple edge rushers in FA along with a corner and plug this guy in Rozeboom's spot. Defense solved. But only if we get a top tier rusher on that dline....jus saying
    • I think I'm going to the game in Los Angeles vs Paraguay, and the England / Croatia game here in Dallas since my mom is British.  For decent seats anywhere in the building(s) it looks like it will be upwards of $7k for the two games.  Insane. Just for perspective, you could buy field level EPL tickets for any one of the top sides in the league, and it would be 10% of the price you'll pay for crappy seats at the World Cup.
    • Meh… I knew this thread would turn into a Bryce/Tua comparison, when they couldn’t be further apart situations.   Dolphins catered there whole offense toward Tua, they brought in a coach that would run a Tua friendly offense, the went in got the best most explosive WR in the NFL and paired him the fastest WR in that years draft. Panthers have done the opposite, they went and got a Pete Carroll disciple who likes to run the ball under center, they drafted big slow WR who got little separation in college. Literally the polar opposite of Bryce’s scouting report coming out of Alabama.   Tua was a decent QB 2 years ago, but the concussions, lack of movement have caught up to him. He never had a great arm to begin with but now since he doesn’t want to get hit he’s taking the whole offense down with him.
