This is pretty unrealistic.

Marqise Lee and Allen Robinson aren't going to be cheap. Ansah is going to command an enormous contract.

Dumb.

I don't get why people think that Marquise Lee is going to be expensive.  I certainly don't believe that he'll be Shepard money, but you'd think that he has been All-Pro or something.

Robinson, on the other hand,  could be fairly expensive,  but should not break the bank.

You have to realize that both these guys (as well as a few others) should be discounted due to their injury histories (at least in theory), so if we're going to get them,  now is the time!

Moncerif and Wallace are probably cheaper.. Ansa is a pipe dream.. Better route is getting a Secondary player and Olinemen.. With a WR of course...

We are going to have to budget and mismatch needs.. Meaning if you spend here you have to spend less at another need..

If we get Allen Robinson  then you are bargin shopping Secondary and Oline in FA..

If you get a Moncerif or Wallace you can spend more on a Secondary player Olinemen and Dlinemen..

This may be one of the worst drafts for receivers i've seen in a while. On the other hand its loaded with defensive backs and ends, which they should target in the first 2 rounds. I think this is the year they make a splash and get a big time receiver in free agency. I don't know Carolina's cap situation but I feel like they should go all in for Jarvis Landry. He can separate and is physical, he can go up and high point the ball as well. He seems like a personality that would gel with Cam and would really benefit him tremendously. Other than Steve Smith, what big time receiver have the panthers ever drafted let alone gone after in FA? The front office has never been great at evaluating receivers, and they've never made a big time free agent acquisition. Now is the time! Landry isn't happy in Miami, he'd get to play with a Championship contender team, and I think if they made a effort and Cam helped recruit we'd easily be his first option.

We actually did.. He avg. Double digit sacks and pressure numbers for 4 years after giving the contract and was one of the best run defending DE's in the game for years.. He ease the pain of missing on Everett Brown and losing Pep.. So he actual played well for the deal he got.. Ppl here wanted Mario Williams who got more and wasn't nearly as good as CJ.. He is number 2 on our all time sack list and we have 2 HOF pass rushers with multiple years in a panther uniform in our history.. So yes money was well served on that deal..

I will let Bill answer

He's going to the highest bidder.

Also if im going to pay a guy 14mil+ a year, he better be able to play on the outside and stretch the field vertically. Not sold Landry is a all around threat like he will be paid.

Thanks for the information.

DT,  Dominique Easley

WR,  Allen Robinson,  Jags

WR,  Marquise Lee,  Jags'

CB,  Kyle Fuller,  Bears

S,  Tre Boston,  Chargers

DE,  Ezekiel Ansah,  Lions

OT,  Cameron Fleming,  Pats

First, with Fangio returning and a glaring need at CB, I would think Fuller will be locked up by da Bears.

Why am I thinking Mike Wallace is headed to Carolina?  I don't like it because WRs are supposed to be able to catch, , but I would be happy with either of these Jag WRs.

I doubt Boston returns.  We like tackling safeties.

I do not think (if you look at contracts only) we address C or T in free agency this year.  I think we are likely to draft a T and C later in the draft to develop behind the Kalils.

I think we  draft a young DE if Peppers signs for another season.    Ezekiel Ansah has been fighting the injury bug and did not heal over an entire off season,. Red flags.  He would be a great gamble, but not at a big number.

About Easly at DT--love the player,  but he has had 3 torn ACLs in just 4 seasons.  A nice addition if the price is low, but dang, that is scary.  Please, no Thomas Davis references.  One exception does not make a case.  Big men with knee issues are like horses with broken legs.

From 2010-2014 CJ averaged around 10 sacks a game. Lets not act like he wasnt paid for a reason, falcons settled for ray edwards who didnt workout at all for them. So there you go.

And how many games did we win?

Lmaooo?! Not a lot because remember the defense wasnt good again till 2013. But CJ was the one consistent till the defense got better. Cant really blame him for the losing.

It's because we were paying him so much we couldn't improve. We didn't start improving until his contract ran out and he fell off.

Stop posting your drivel before you infect every body with your stupidity..
