Hunting Land Lease opportunity?

I have a lease in SC that I hunt on but I’d like a place to lease in NC to go to when SC gets crowded. Anyone here hunt? - know of/have any suggestions ? 

Trying to avoid public land if possible.

Pay a yearly fee to land owner for spring and fall season access. I wouldn’t put a minimum on acreage. 15, 25, 50 doesn’t matter to me. If it’s remote that’s usually best.

How much does a fee usually run? Or what’s reasonable for 10 acres with plenty of deer?

Let me talk to my mother in law who owns the land. It’s just outside of Kannapolis and only one guy has hunted it the last decade but I don’t think he comes out anymore.

5000 acres.....15 members....$1400.00 a year. VERY tightly regulated and controlled. Beautiful place

Certain counties in NC don't allow rifles. Cabarrus county used to not allow them. 

 

I was part of one in WV.  It was owned by a major timber company that leased out rights to hunt.  Might research for something like that in western nc.
