The leading receivers for both teams in the SB are TEs.

Those are just the starters, not depth. Olsen had 1,000 for 3 straight seasons.

Imagine having 2, oh I can what did CAM do in 2011 : Just throw for 4,000 + yds

This notion that we need WRs is false, the biggest need is a True TE that can block & catch. If y’all want to win playoffs game instead of puttin up stats like Steelers get a freaking TE!

True:  their top go to guy is a TE

But how you ingnore the fact of their WRs are light years from ours.

Ours cant come close to getting seperation like those Pats WRs

And if you think Funchess can use his Body to dominate like Ashlon, you my friend have nit watched a snap of panthers football

You think we have a guy who could make this catch?  HECK no

Heck Shepard couldn't even make a catch in the Endzone vs the saints, where Cam pretty much put it in the basket about as perfect as just handing it to him.......and he dropped it

Yea & none of those WRS have over 1,000 yds they have similar production  to Funchess.

If Panthers invest in TEs &  an young power RB then things will open up more for the receivers and CMC.

Finally got a competent OC to utilize all the skill players.

Cooks had a 1k yards, but None of the  other WRs have 1k yards because they have Multiple weapons and spread it

Eagles had 4 WRs with over 225 yards

We had 1

Eagles and Pats have 3 WRs with at least 430 yards.........we have 1

Eagles top 3 WRs combined for

155 receptions for  1,987 yards and 19 TDs

Pats top 3 WRs

135 catches for 2,180 yards and 12 TDs

Our top 95 receptions for 1,157 yards and 9 TDs

ALL of our WRs combined (all 6 that made a catch this year)

118 catches for 1,447 yards and 11 TDs which is less than those teams big 3.........heck even less than those 2 teams top 2 WRs

Eagles 2 WRs 1,557 yards

Pats 2 WRs 1,741 yards

Panthers 6 WRs 1,447 yards

That’s the whole point, when you have an offense that spreads the ball to all skill position you don’t need a Julio Jones as your WR.

P.S. Panthers power running game was not at its standard otherwise the WRs #’s would be slightly higher with  better PA.

#sanjayforgm I'll take Chubb and fumagali

Was it you who I told that Michel > Chubb?  Most people have finally figured this out, and the rankings and mocks are reflecting this opinion.

Speed, power,  hands and blocking.  Look at the scouting reports.

True but you still need guys who

1. Catch the ball- Ashlon is among the best in the game right now in making contested catches.  We dont have anyone who even make a contested catch

2. Create seperation- Pats have Hogan, Amendola, Cooks. Eagles have Agholor and Smith.  We have? Thats right no one.

3. Run good routes

Your right the better run game would open it up Some.  You would see DBs bite on run fakes.  But you can't have a offense where your only hope of a passing game is your WRs only getting open on playfake and DBs biting.

Lets not think that teams are bringing on extra defenders to help cover.  Stewart is the NFLs leader in rushing into stacked boxes. Meaning 99% of the time our WRs are matched 1 on 1 with no safety help.  And they Still fail to get a step on a defender, and if/when they do, they drop it.

Put our WRs in philly and NE and those offenses wouldn't be remotely close to being as good as they are now.
