Mark Andrews the forth best TE? Jesus. The Mackey winner is the forth best TE? OHHHHHHHHHHHH K.

Seems like a lot of people are questioning his speed and I absolutely don't see it. He looks like a mid-4.6 or better guy all day long and that's plenty fast for a TE. I won't be shocked if he runs in the 4.5s.

The biggest issue with Andrews - and it's the same story for virtually all of the top TEs coming out of college these days - is that he spent the majority of his time essentially playing as a slot WR. These top college TEs these days are spending a ton of time split out wide and not lining up on the line.

With the 24th pick in the 2018 NFL Draft the Carolina Panthers select Roquan Smith LB/Georgia. - Marty Hurney probably.

He is a good player...but I think with the Turner hire that even Ron will lean towards pushing to get him  the weapons he needs...that is where the dynamic has changed...

I hope, could also replace Norwell at #24 depending if they see Moton as a LG, RT or LT. Could also get a OT if the put Moton at OG.

    • I suspect Coker can be better, but I haven't seen much evidence of Horn actually being better. Nuanced route running should not be taken lightly. If Horn ever reached the highest height that Renfrow has, I will be surprised. Coker may be able to do it, but it's certainly not a guarantee. I realize that Renfrow has been out of the game a few years, but I have seen evidence of him being his old self. That's also no guarantee, but I'm not certain that we'll ever be able to see any of these guysbteach their ceiling under the current circumstances.
    • Renfrow basically is exactly who we thought he was.   He is a niche slot WR. But he doesn't fit the O or Bryce though.  Renfrow needs a pretty good QB and scheme to be of use.  Bryce Young flat can't even hit him when he is open.  Folks saying Renfrow hasn't been good or washed are letting Bryce defense get in the way.  It's also just denying reality we watched on the field of him being wide open over and over and Bryce not being able to hit the broad side of a barn.  He probably has the best hands on the team though.  He is the best short/classic slot route runner on the team and it's not really close.  but we need to be developing Tmac, XL, Coker, Tremayne and Horn.  I'd say only 2 guys are technically better than Renfrow right now in a vaccum and that is Tmac and Coker.
    • That's basically how I see it. He's obviously not washed. I've watched at least three vids showing how he was open and Bryce missing him. I've also seen evidence of him still putting people in a blender. But, if Bryce is going to miss him and Canales isn't going to use him, we may as well see what the young guys can do.
