I'd seen a few people speculate he'd be a best on our D-Line but I don't know if anyone thought it was a realistic possibility.

And now, it definitely isn't.

I wanted him but never thought he'd hit the market, this was expected.

There’s really no difference makers out there to help our DL unless a Robert Quinn gets cut. And that’s doubtful.

Yep, it's uncommon for players at premium positions hit the open market during the prime of their career. This year will be the first year I can remember when there are going to be multiple decent QBs during their prime available on the open market. It'll be interesting to watch how all that shakes out.

      I agree but he honestly has gotten better about this. Used to be he’d do it like 4-5 times a game, now it’s like 2-3. Overall I’m incredibly happy with his game, his D has been solid and when he is playing his role he’s a solid scorer and one of the few guys who can consistently finish at the rim and provide that threat. Plus he’s electric and LaMelo loves him. Going into the season I was sure he would just be a stop gap here but now I’m reconsidering and could see him continue to be a “core” piece here. Obviously not on the level of the other starters but he is an important cog for this team. We felt his missed presence during his and Moose’s suspensions.

      Philly will be a bigger challenge than the Knicks were IMO. George and Embiid are back, not sure about Maxey but Embiid alone is a nightmare matchup for us and Moose. We’ve never really done well against him. Celtics added Tatum but honestly not sure they’re all that much better with him right now than they were when we whooped them a few weeks ago. We should be able to at the very least split these 2, hopefully take both.
