Cowboys love Leighton Vander Esch

Titans love Rashaan Evan's

Packers are desperate for corner and will take with their first, or trade up for Ward/Minkah

Derwin James will stay in Florida

Daron Payne is a favorite in Washington

Edmund's will go 8 or 9

They were talking on NFL Network about Esch to the Cowboys.  They have to get a WR but also have to get a LB as well.  All your comments make sense...thanks

Verge, any teams ahead of us in love with Harold Landry?

Absolutely, he won't be there. Heard Detroit, Raiders, and Seahawks love him.

So Verge Igo says it's going to be Hughes, Ridley or Hernandez. Have you heard anything else on our pick as it gets closer. Also what our scouts saying about Hurst could you tell these people on here so they understand why he is a first rd grade.

Nah, still hearing WR (Ridley, Moore, Miller) or Hurst.

Lmao.

You ever heard of market share? Even the normal trends of TEs during their rookie contract?

Doubtful. Of course, you probably also think Josh Allen is the best QB in this class if you listen to these 'scouts.'

Hurst is poor value and shouldn't be considered at our pick considering his age, skillset, and poor market share.

If Hurney takes a OG in the 1st round it would be the most Hurney thing that had ever happened.

If Hurney takes a small school OG instead of a dominating Georgia lineman, the levels of Hurniness would be so massive and prevalent on the Earth that the concentrated remnants would coalesce into small glowing gem which would occupy the palm spot on a bright, gold, gauntlet, and of which the search for said gem would be the central plot of a major motion picture in 2026.

The Hurney Stone.

Curious how that would be a bad pick.

Honestly speaking, it wouldn't be a bad pick if it's someone like Wynn, Hernandez, or even Ragnow. OGs a pretty good class in the top part, and while depth is pretty decent, I do think it'd be nice to have a sure starter floor for an incoming OG if Moton is not part of the LG plan.

However, by all accounts it appears we're keying in on a corner.

I can definitely see Wynn, Ragnow or Hernandez being the pick.  Any of those would help us immediately.

Also, where are people seeing he can block? I literally saw a post from an nfl analyst saying the top 5 TEs in this class were awful at blocking and ranked them from “won’t block” to “allergic to blocking”

this is the only only place I’ve seen say hurst is a good blocker if someone could link me to a source on that that’d be great

I've heard he is a willing blocker.  However, if you think Hurst is a better receiving TE than OJ Howard, Njoku or Ingram (last years dudes) you are WAY overrating Hurst.

    • Anybody got a clue what this is supposed to mean? 🤔
    • I figured as much. Hopefully he's just resting up and will be ready for round 3 (if we make it that far.)  Sucks to see. Hes been our best defender (besides Slavin) in the playoffs so far.
    • I've never bought into the idea. There's just too much at stake, even for front office people. Jobs are lost, trust is lessened, lives are altered, reputations are damaged and more. Throw in that the average front office person isn't as young as the average player. They may not have ten years ahead of them to salvage their careers. Any given year could be their last. The only person not guaranteed to suffer some direct form of consequence from losing is the owner, and even there you still have problems (fan reaction, team reputation, revenue, etc). You've also got massive egos in play on that front so it can get personal. Mind you, I do accept that there are "fire sales" in order to build for the future, but even those have consequences. They don't exactly guarantee success either. Poorly run teams often just wind up in the same circumstance a few years down the road. Sorry gus, but my tinfoil hat just hasn't fit me for quite a while.
