Ebron is the only TE available who can be a genuine asset to an offense and perhaps be the guy at the position in the years to come. "Dependable blockers" and "solid glue guys" need not apply.

True. Ebron would replace Russell Shepard as our slot receiver because he isn't really a TE due to the fact that he can't block.
