Cam Newton is without a doubt a VERY talented QB and vital to this organization (Anyone living during the pre-Newton or Jake days of 2003-2008 can contest to)...but he needs "The Weapon". I seriously believe this guy has the "IT" factor. Steve Smith knows/understands the intangible skill sets required of a WR. We should all be pumped about this selection. Norv/Olson/DJ Moore/Fun-Fun/Samual/Bryd = Effective Offense. 

*Hope we address Safety or Second TE in Second round/Third Round #excited

The fact that we were able to choose the first WR off the board is awesome.  It also says that we got our highest graded receiver out of an entire draft class; "poor year" or not for the position, that's HUUUUGE.

I agree. Also...I put much stock into what Steve Smith says (When it comes to talent eval to WR). I believe he wrote an article a couple months ago about DJ Moore...this is a Great pickup

Absolutely! I meant to add C.M..personally I’m excited about this offense. Adding some playmakers was a wise decision. I do hope we get a Safety and second TE though..I feel Moton will hold down (win) the Left Guard position. Hall coming back helps with the DE depth. 

 

As as far RB goes..I think we have a go at Bo Scarborough/Chris Warren on day 3
