When will they pull the trigger on the big 3?

You know who I speak of.....safety, running back, and guard. One of each in no particular order. Hopefully before pre-season. I hope they are not waiting for June cuts just to pick up a bunch of jags. Still a few FA that would certainly help this team. What u got?

I don’t know that the team feels there’s as big a need at safety and guard as many fans do. So I wouldn’t really expect any big splashes there.

And at running back, I wonder if they haven’t already had talks with CJ Anderson, but his price tag is a little more than they are willing to pay for a back up. If that’s the case, we are probably waiting until tomorrow or after cuts to find someone to compete with CAP.

They DEFINITELY need a veteran safety. Really the last key position they need to fill. Can't go into the season with what they have at safety or this is 2016 all over again.

I don't see another guard being brought in. They've got a bunch of guys that'll be in the mix at LG already. Sirles has experience, Silatolu has started games at LG (not a great option but he has) lot of hype around Dorian Johnson, maybe they give Larsen a look, Moton will be in the mix. I think someone will emerge from that group and grab the LG spot.

I'm way more concerned about the depth at tackle. If Daryl Williams or Matt "speedbump" Kalil go down, the depth behind them is almost non-existent. Bunch of cast offs from other teams practice squads from what I can see. From the Panthers depth chart it looks like Amini Silatolu is being listed as a tackle. So I'd definitely like to see them bring in a veteran tackle because if Amini is starting at LT, Cam is going to die.

Searcy and Colin Jones have been in the league since 2011 and we know how old Adams is. Are you saying they need a veteran or a BETTER veteran?

    • Totally agree with you, if we had invested in drafting a corner or two I wouldn’t even ponder adding Ramsey. But, to be honest we legit added nobody to our corner room this offseason we have nobody worth developing. Even if Chau Smith Wade is better then what I think, he is the only guy we have invested draft capital into outside of our starters.
    • Look at his snap counts, your telling me that his entire college and pro football career every coach he has had has misused him? No offense but I don’t think you understand the role of a slot corner. Mike Jackson is the literal definition of an outside zone corner, he would be totally inept as a slot corner. Ala why he has been an outside corner his entire career.
    • If we were a super bowl contender, I'd be up for it. We are far from it, so no.
