Well since Chuck was banned and his thread got deleted, here is a new one.

Currenrtly the Hornets are tied 37-37 with the Raptors at half.

Miles out there trying to put everyone in a body bag but he's also 2-11.

Joe Chealey looks to be a pleasant surprise. The way Buzz Peterson spoke of him during the intermission, I wouldn't be surprised to see him get a contract as the 14th or 15th roster player.

Well the Hornets summer league has come to an end with an OT loss to the Raptors.

We lost Monk, Graham, and Hernangomez to various reasons so unfortunately we didn't get to see the full potential of the team.

Regardless...

Monk and Hernangomez both played well during the respective minutes that they each received. Each figures to be a key part in the success of this year's team.

Bacon had a great summer league and figures to get a little burn this year. If there is an injury, he could see a lot of time. Next year, I could see him backing up Monk as we will more than likely lose Lamb to free agency.

Bridges showed flashes but it's clear his shot is not even close to where it needs to be to get a lot of minutes. He's a human highlight reel but he needs to work on that shot, a lot.

Graham, well we don't really know the extent of his injury yet. It's doubtful that he was going to have an impact this year anyway, but he may have a solid future in the NBA.

Kubolka didn't show much outside of the first game but he's also very raw. Maybe we'll see him in few years,

Macura looks Iike he may have the tools to be an average NBA bench player. He'll get his burn with the Swarm and maybe we'll see him down the road.

Chealey played really well down the stretch and assistant GM Buzz Peterson mentioned him by name during an interview with Isiah Thomas. If Graham's injury is going to keep him out for a bit I could see the Hornets signing Chealey as the 3PG.

Gabe DeVoe and B.J. Johnson showed enough that I could see the Swarm signing then. They don't look to have NBA future's but they are certainly G-League players and may be able to play themselves into a two-way contract in the future with an NBA team

Mathiang didn't get much burn but it also doesn't look like he's progressssed much. He'll be with the Swarm again this year but he is unlikely to ever make it to the NBA.

Petrasek and Henderson will likely head back to the Swarm as well. They didn't show much and like Mathiang they are unlikely to ever see the NBA.

Shannon Scott was without a doubt our worst player and I don't see anyone picking him up. He'll probably head back overseas.

Never got to see this team at it's full peak..smh

But love how much better Monk, Gomez, and Bacon look.. All should contribute and get solid minutes this year..

Dam Devonte luck...smh.. He looked advance for a rookie guard with court vision and how to run a team..

Miles showed so much game.. That even when his shot wasn't falling he stilled got dirty points played great defense and REBOUNDS like a beast.. So he is always a plus while on the court.. Hopefully the new coaching staff is going to give him the minutes he needs to develop into a star...

Thoughts on this game:

We didn't shoot the ball well at all. Even Bacon wasn't efficient but he still played well. He got to his spots and showed a nice ability to get around the defender and get to where he wanted. 

Bridges shot bad, but his positives far outweigh his negatives. He was explosive and had some wow moments which we all need to see. He has nice handles, good vision and will be a great rebounder and help defender in time. 

Macura is a hustle player and gets his hand on a ton of balls. Chealey looked good in the first half but not so much in the second. I thought Mango played well on defense. He influenced lots of shots but I was hoping for more from him.

      Honestly, it wasn't on him last game. There are many other reasons that come before Bryce. Dave Canales is really starting to worry me. I mean there are glaring issues that can't be excused. I said back when the whole Rico/Chubba thing happened. I said right then that you cannot have a coach that handled those 4 or 5 games the way he did. I get it, most thought that he was trying to throw games, which was not wrong thinking because of how bad it was. The decisions right before half. The strict "Chubba gets this drive and Rico gets the next." It's seeming like a lot of our backups are the better talent, so he cant evaluate talent. Not calling a quarterback sneak because of size. Small quarterback have a different type of advantage, just not as good as a large quarterback, but still doable. Then he doesn't even explain why he didn't put Dalton in there (saying it would give away a quarterback sneak is...just stop). I honestly think he forgot about putting in Dalton. There are so many others that I'd have to re-watch the games to remember.  I could make a whole other post on that defensive game plan...absolutely awful. And a quick petition...see the quote above, can we please ban these weirdos and try to clean this place up. This is peak reddit right here and these losers will destroy the board. I couldn't make it though 3 pages because these morons post more than anyone else. These are the perpetual online freaking weirdos banned from getting too close to schools reddit mod types. Get these losers out of here. You got these freaks posting a ton and not answering the question OP posted ABOUT THE PANTHERS. This is supposed to be about football and this dork constantly tries to attack OP's question. Could you imagine someone in your real life group acting like this? You'd kick his butt out immediately. And you have this reddit loser trying to stop people for posting about the Panthers. Any normal person would just skip the post, but you have to remember these morons base their whole personality on their online persona. They would be banned almost everywhere else. Send him back to reddit, they will be a cancer to this place, trust me. I guarantee you he has more comments than 95% of accounts. These guys are the lowest in society so they live online. Its everything to them. You dont want that. Just read his responses. Do background check on that guy, there are younger people on this too and he probably isn't allowed to be talking to them, or be on here at all.
