We must remember that JStew rarely does much in the preseason except ride a bicycle. He might have lost a step, but I bet he can still leap over a lineman and stiff arm the crap out of a safety.

The guy was a great Panther and he loses none of my respect for going for another set of paychecks while he is still a young man.

If you look at who the Giants have on their roster at RB, signing Stew makes some sense. Their best returning back is  Gallman, who had 476 yds. as a rookie. Sure they've got Barkley now, but getting a particular player in the draft is never a sure thing, and picking up a vet like Stew was. I think Gettleman believes that he still has something left.

Stewart has been garbage for like 4 years now.  Slow as molasses. Homers will never take off their glasses to see this though.

Stewart has been all class— talked CJ into coming here, has been a class act all the way. Most players should take a page out of his book,..
