Funchess would have caught it and go out of bounds at the one and Torre would have tried to catch the ball with them alligator arms so why not throw to the first rounder who made the biggest Play by a WR in the game

I saw it too, but then when they flashed back to that area of the field I saw their corny ass mascot standing nearby and just assumed it was his foot.  I'm not sure though.

He's got to catch it though.  The ball hits your arm, you are a 1st round pick WR, you better catch it.  He will have to learn from this and hopefully not make the same mistake again.

Not only being down big late in the 4th but also a minor injury to Wright to make him have to sit (atleast I think I remember the announcers saying something about him being out since I don't think they showed whatever happened or him coming off). This is one fact that really pissed me off since what was the point of drafting a WR in the 1st round if we were only going to use him on special team (and only because Byrd is injuried currently). I would have had him in for every play of that last drive after that amazing catch and TD to give us a chance but...... you know...... that's Ron for you.

Nope. I wish DJ, Wright, Samuel/Byrd was our default. I wouldn’t keep Wright out, he is a solid possession guy.
