I said CMC resembles more of a scatback coming out of college than a power back. I said Fournette would be better to replace JStew because he can break tackles due to poor OL play. CMC needed wide open lanes to be successful running the ball. Carolina was far from being able to do that. You guys have to remove your emotions sometimes. Ya'll just got too caught up in the hype.

You can pretend not to hate CMC all you want, but everyone knows the truth. You and fiz were the leaders of the McCaffrey haters ball

Stop being such a pessimist about CMC and give him the credit he deserves. You have nothing to say but negative things about him and have no confidence at all in him as a player.

1. Because he has yet to be consistent breaking tackles is one key.

2. Wanting to see CMC in the slot is not a crime especially last years wack ass WR options and Funches / Torrey Smith are struggling to be legit WRs

3. I have created 3 CMC topics. 2 Were positive 1 was critical. You guys just defend him like jesus when he makes mistakes. lol

How about this? Him not being able to break tackles is so last year. He is near the top of the league in Yards after Contact. And has played one fewer games. So he IS improving in this area. Which is something you said he could not do.

He just had a 28 carry, 180 yard game. Where the vast majority of his carries were between the tackles. That is also something you said he could not do. Yet, here we are.

As a RB, when he goes in motion, he will be covered by a LB almost every time. That is a mismatch made in heaven. You put the poor kid in the slot, and he is covered by a DB. Not so much of a mismatch there. As a RB, he very well could get close to a 1000 yards. Throw in all the looks in the passing game, and he can get you another 700 yards easily. On this team, there is no way he will get that level of production, as just a Slot Receiver.

If you make the kid a Slot Receiver. You limit what he can do. You also make it easier for the Defense to defend him. I don't like either option.

And that last sentence just does not hold water. Because the kid rarely makes mistakes. His football IQ is through the roof.

Lastly, the kid is near the top of the league in all purpose yards. That stat alone should tell you just how versatile, and valuable, the kid is to this team.

Now see, here's the rub. Everything you said there pretty much describes him coming out of college. And probably even the first half of last year. So yes, your concerns were warranted.

But man, that kid doesn't exist anymore. I mean, even you must admit that the kid has been damm impressive this year. Everything Norv has asked him to do, he has delivered.

6 yards per carry, near the top of the league in not just yards after contact, but forced missed tackles as well. Come on man. (I had to resist the urge to go C'mon man.) That is production with a capital P.

Now I ask you. What more does this kid need to do?

How about ya'll stop being butt hurt and stop replying to my threads? Easy solution. Win/win fellas. =)

Well, to be perfectly honest. If we all stopped replying to your threads. They would be ghost towns. Amirite?

And this is the Huddlez. It is what we do. Debate the folks who intrigue you. Ignore the ones who annoy you. For the most part, it works for me.
