His shoulder and accuracy on deep throws has not been the same since the injury.

Shhhhh...I said that last week (as one of Cam's biggest supporters), and got chastised.

When Voth, Gannt, and media guys openly talk about it on Twitter, they're not making poo up.  Where there's smoke, there's fire.

Cam shoulders absolute non of that blame. Excuses you will hear.  OL, Coaching, WR’s, OC, DC, White RB.  Things you want hear poor footwork, poor pre snap read of defense, has trouble calling plays per Cam Greg sometimes has to help him call plays in the Huddle.  Poor vision after the snap. Poor accuracy.  Everyone blames the defense but they have been in the field the entire first half and has given up 10 points

It's all still heavy speculation dude.

Cam said he was healthy. Did he lie? Do we believe the man himself or people spreading rumors?

I think so, I mean 1-15 on throws over 20 yards this season. Similar last season and year before. He literally went from a top 5 QB on throws over 20 yards to the worst qb in the NFL on throws over 20 yards. Not just a one season stretch but three year stretch.

I've been saying it for a while, think it's one of the reasons they drafted CMC, Samuel's and Moore so the offense could pick up yac on short throws.

problem is teams just sit on that when your 1-15 on deep throws.

Last year we had no running game so he spent most of his time picking up slack in that area.

I don't know what the issue is this year but for me it's plain to see most of it is self inflicted with whatever the hell kind of offense this is that we keep trying to run. The biggest issue is we are a running team and we still can't run the ball outside of Cam. I can't stress enough that our identity is a run team. It's how we built this roster. We used an 8th overall pick on a running back.

CMC is 12 in Rushing yards playing one game less then most above him. He has 25 yards this game. Problem is for a run team the Panthers dont run it much.

    • yeah, now it's going to get awkward.  The team circles pay attention to all this stuff.  All the wives and girlfriends see the posts.  They all talk like everyone.  Football is just a normal world outside of the fact they play a game for lots of money.  Gossip travels. They know the Theilen's want out at this point.  Carolina is now the disappointed failed trade location.    So now AT takes sort of an inhouse hit in Carolina IMO
    • Ummm... The dude looked like he was about 180 pounds soaking wet with us (I don't care what his listed weight was/is) - he would have been destroyed in the run game even more than our current and past crappy ILBs. The problem is we primarily play 3-4 or nickel/dime - there is little room on the field for him because he isnt an edge LB blitzer and he can't cover for crap. The only thing he can do kind of well is be an in-the-box safety that can try and beat blockers to the spot because of his athleticism. Washington was able to make him work last year because they used him solely as an in-the-box safety and almost exclusively ran a single high FS. The funny thing is they had good yards/game stats against the pass despite most of their secondary having embarrassingly low PFF grades. Washington was also terrible against the run, which might explain why they gave up so few yards passing.
    • Just get the deal done. We've teased it so much that the Thielen's expect it. Now we run the risk of our veteran WR locker room presence becoming disgruntled. Just take what we can get, make him happy, and get future assets while freeing up snaps for guys who will be here beyond this season.
