If your takeaway from this game is “Boy, that Rivera sure can coach’em!”

You’re a moron.

If your takeaway is (or was) “MAYUN THAT THAR SCAM NEWTRON SHO’ DUZ SUKKKKKK YALLLLLL!!!?

You’re a moron.

Outside of winning the game, the most delicious part of the game result was that Newton YET AGAIN embarrasses and shames the nit-pickers and the haters who are his purported “fans”.

And that’s a thing to be savored! Yum yum!

Brilliant insight. Any other hot takes?

I think the operative question for some isn't necessarily "how good are we" but 'how good could we be"

Fair or not, there are a decent number of people who believe that a better coach could take a team with Cam Newton and Luke Kuechly and win games without us having to pull something out of our ass at the last minute.

True? Don't know, but it's a valid debate.

Maybe.....But great talent can overcome bad coaching. I really think there are a TON of dynamic playmakers on this offense. I think they are still just trying to find an identity. For sure, there are times that coaching is hindering them, but you see how explosive they can be on those last three offensive possessions. If they can find THAT for entire games....Look out!! The defense would not necessarily need to be as dominant as in the past, which clearly they aren't. Hopefully, this game inspires!!....It SHOULD.

Imagine what you could do with great talent and great coaching though.

Ron is holding the offense back with this ball control stuff. Its is exactly what we have witnessed for yrs. He is not letting CAM and the offense be who they can be until we are behind and need points. This great defense we suppose to have is sloppy and unwatchable. Yes they made a couple of stops in the second half but the offense sped up the paste to put the defense in the position to redeem themselves. Should have never been in this position from the jump. This is Ron's fault. Eagles did what Ron wanted to do and did it better but still lost let that sink in ! Ball control means nothing when an offense can literally score in less than 3minutes and have an average defense.
