Panthers job vs Packers job

It's looking like these will be the two most promising coaching jobs available at the conclusion of the season.

 

Which franchise would be seen as the better destination?  On one hand, Green Bay has one of the GOATS at QB for probably another 3-4 years at least, and what's looking like a top 5-6 draft pick.  On the other hand, the Panthers arguably have a better up and coming young core, a climate/city that free agents would prefer, and new forward-looking ownership that won't be afraid to spend, unlike the Packers historically.

It's not much fun living in WI and it's a small town. Charlotte is way more attractive with a owner that will pay you if you do good.

What’s our future if Cam can’t get back to 100%? Was supposed to be his first healthy year in awhile and he still can’t throw deep. With a healthy Rodgers you’re in playoff contention every year

I fully expect the Green bay opening to get 80% of more of the coverage by the sports media, with them pushing the presumption that it's the best job available without a debate.

Its weird that NFL players seem to put the panthers on the end of the list. Including Charlotte as a city. 

Maybe they think of it as old south or some backwards place when its not. But Florida.. with all these new crazy contracts for one year of good play. Its all about money. the tax poo.

 

Then they put "storied" franchises like Steelers, Cowboys, Redskins, 49ers over Carolina. we are still making way to be an appealing free agent spot.

You walk into a situation with a top 3 QB, 2 first round picks and a younger team.

The guy was having a career year before today. Even with a bum arm Cam is still a top 10 QB. Crazy how people can go from North to South on a player. So what do you suggest to fix the problem?

That's true.  I didn't consider them because of their reputation, but they have more young talent than we do certainly, will likely draft higher, and have more cap space to work with.
