No country for old men and JAGS

This team is comprised of older players on their way out  and avg/below avg talent. Previous management always diluted themselves into thinking they could squeeze one more year out of a vet, or a JAG is better then he has proven to be.

They have a handful of talented young players that should now be the building blocks of a new team and new philosophy. Status quo doesn't work and hasn't worked....just look at the  results of the 2018 season.

The time has come to do what needs TO BE DONE and move forward. Twenty plus years of mediocrity has taken it's toll on this fan base.

This team is full of soft Gettleman players who were brought in for no other reason than they were "economically sensible."

None of them buy into this team's identity, it's toughness, pride, or aggression, and though its unlikely you keep the GM in a total rebuild, it says something that the hungriest players on the field are the Hurndog's guys, Moore and Jackson most noticeably.

For guys like mike Adams, keep pounding is just this team's hashtag. The bottom falling out like this is completely uncharacteristic of a traditional panthers team. Even on poor teams that simply didn't have the talent, Steve Smith was still starting fights in meaningless Tampa December games to stick up for jimmy Clausen.

Teams with any semblence of physicality don't just implode like this, but the panthers are full of "pro's pro" guys, guys who are here to jog as Jarvis Landry sprints down the field and trot to the sideline with an "oh well" glare plastered on their face

This team's moto is "keep Pounding"......they talk the talk, but don't walk the walk this season. Fold like a cheap suit when things go south. Infuse youth and talented younger vets to kick start this team. Move on from the old vets and the mediocre players surrounding the core of this team.

Quit making Tepper into something he isnt. I’ll believe it when I see it. Right now, it’s looking like Jerry has Tepper by the balls and still making decisions here in Charlotte.

Like Jerry’s statue, bet there’s some things in the contract that has Jerry making decisions for the next 10 yrs in order to Tepper to buy this team.

what lol

No one would drop 2.5 billion dollars on anything to have someone else run the show. That is ridiculous. T didn't become a billionaire by being a fool.

Right.....like changing the midfield logo, bringing in Reid, and building a new practice facility that will put an end to Wofford training camps. Those were all Richardson decisions.

Think a little

    • Watching games this year again and Bryce missed a wide open XL many times and some of them were in the endzone. I get the kid has mental lapses and hasn't broke out yet, but this is year three on a rookie deal! Cutting bait now is too early. If he hasn't gained anymore trust from his QB, posted any highlights, little production, or outright gets beat out then we can talk movement.
    • Samesies   I truly may just cash completely out of Panther football if we give him a long term deal that isnt necessary.  I have watched NFL for 50 years now and I can without a shadow of a doubt say you cannot win consistently with BY.  Way too many limitations to deal with.   I may come back around in 3 years when the inevitable happens and all parties are either cut and/or fired.  Giving him a deal before this season so you hopefully can get him cheaper in case he "blows up" or if you truly believe that he will has to be the most moronic decision a gm can make when the evidence is laid before you with different players
    • This is the one! I was at that game and all KB had to do was lay down on the corner after the pick or make an obvious tag while he was down. He had already ran a lazy route. Then if Cam would've just walked to the sideline like most elite QBs instead of trying to make the tackle.  A lot of people bring up the TJ Watt hit, but he just reaggravated a bunch of scar tissue from that play. And every Cam hater said that the running did him in and it was a dive tackle attempt on an interception that initially began the shoulder deterioration. He still went to New England later and would've got them in the playoffs had their A team not sat out the covid year. We quit on him too early. But hey how good was Teddy? Am I right?
