If we lose out and the Bucs beat Atlanta in the finale then both our draft position and next year's schedule improve while their's gets worse!

And my friends say I cannot look on the bright side.

Only two of the sixteen games on next years schedule are impacted by this year's finish.

Just enjoy the ride guys. We are ready to win! Only 1 of 2 things will happen.

Coaching changes mean cleaning house. Do people realize players are not just chess pieces on a board? Many of the key pieces of this team (especially defense) have known nothing but this regime. If and when that changes, noone should expect that players are just going to transition as if nothing happened.

Or..things stay the same and RR and Co.  continues on for another year.

Frankly if it were not for the handover to Washington and this suck ass defense sans the last 2 games,  we would be looking at a very different offseason. I dont believe a whole coaching/front office change works with the age of this team. Even with TD/Kalil 1 and hopefully 2,/Olsen/...etc...we still have more than a few seasoned vets on the team that will be coming up for extensions in the next year or 2.

If we are going to clean house, it should be a complete transition. Not slapping new wallpaper over old. Tepper should wait a year or even two. Bring in a new GM and let that GM evaluate this team. Start fresh and young. Keep Luke for the badassery that he is. Keep Cam for the "heart" but otherwise gut this team and build a real "team" with the management.

Correct, those will be the NFC North and NFC East team we play next year. If we finish 2nd we play the 2nd place teams and so on.

Correct, and playoff berths and division titles are often decided by two games or less

Think of it this way...

We have just as much chance of winning the division as the Falcons and the Buccaneers do.

(always put a positive spin on things)
