Bucs didn’t get Bowles...

At least not yet...

The Chicago Tribune's Brad Biggs reports ex-Jets coach Todd Bowles hasn't finalized anything with the Bucs and is considering the Bears' defensive coordinator job.
It was widely reported on Tuesday that Bowles was going to Tampa Bay to rejoin coach Bruce Arians as his defensive boss, but Biggs reports Bowles and Matt Nagy have spoken multiple times in recent days with Bears DC Vic Fangio now off to the Broncos as their new coach. Bowles would have far more talent to work with in Chicago, obviously. He'd be silly not to take that job. Jan 9 - 12:45 P

Silly not to take that job?  Not in my opinion.

Higher expectations, higher taxes, worse weather, cold water, etc...

I can tell you, I would much prefer to live in TB and Chi.

Valid, but it's also fair to note that the Glazers are terrible owners.

TB is a terrible franchise, CHI hasn’t been great in recent years either but does have some solid history. I wouldn’t say CHI is a no brainer but if Bowles is trying to be a HC again soon, the Bears would give him the best chance.

    • I don't think it's a homer though when I really feel this team can beat anyone.  The points that can be scored in bunches when the big three are on has high potential.  Moose has effort for days and IMO is the heart of the team.  And didn't see Miles becoming the team "vet" in the starting lineup just roleplaying lol.   We have to limit the turnovers though (Brandon Miller I'm looking at you bud, you are a bad ball handler) and some little things.   Colby off the bench is a cheat code and him and Kaulk have a nice little game going with the picks.    Sion playing every game and just getting better each game.  He has grit.  Grant and Green also grit.  We need replace Tillman with PJ Hall though.  Tillman looks like someone that shouldn't be on an NBA court, or at least with this team, he's just too slow for this tempo.   Even McNeely looked decent tonight and can drive.   If Kaulk and Moose could even be like 30% 3pt shooters man....
    • 1.) LaMelo 2.) Kon 3.} Miller 4.. Giannis 5.) Moose   1.) Coby 2.) ? 3.) Sion 4.) Miles Bridges 5.) Kalk That squad would win multiple chips.
