Things I liked...

-Gary Barnidge is finally starting to show his recieving ability along with the rest of our solid TE core. I really like all three of those guys.

-The offensive line is finally starting to gel this year. It took them a while, but they gave that quarterback of ours all the time in the world today

-Landon Johnson seemed to play much better than he has been for us. He was quick and aware today.

-Not Jake Delhomme

What did you guys like?

DJ was open a lot when he was on the field too, observation I had from being at the game. Now if only Jake would look his way more then three times in a game. Defense was lights out today too bad they got put on the field in such poor situations.

Like you, I liked the passes to the tight ends (specifically that nice one-handed snag by Rosario), as well as the passes to our backs.

I thought the defense as a whole played damned well today, and the line looked perhaps the best it has all season. Yes, this is against the Buffalo Bills, but Hollis Thomas seems to have transformed this line.

DJ looked to be a much better option on that last pick also....

- Hollis Thomas is a force inside, and he is keeping Beason free to fly around and make plays. Just what we needed.

- Our secondary is no longer out of position. As a result the defense is becoming confident and salty.

- Chris Harris... my god we got him for a 5th round pick lol. That guy lays wood, and he's smart.

- O-line is playing about as well as last season.

- Williams is like Barry Sanders, but bigger and stronger.

- Our TEs are coming to life.

All the pieces are in place for a playoff caliber team, all but 1. Jake is like an anchor dragging this team down, and losing to less talented teams is sickening. Consider if both teams played with the same player at QB. The Bills would have lost by double digits.

I saw that too. It looked like he had his man beat with no safety help over the top. What the hell was jake doing throwing into double coverage? Whats with his lack of confidence throwing to DJ?

Defense plays lights out. If we didn't turn the ball over, we probably would have shut them out. Also, Smitty did well today so it's good to see that we are still capable of getting him the rock. I was glad to see Goodson get a few touches. Too bad he didn't do anything with them.

    • That's likely going to tell the story. He'll have two weeks to prepare, so no excuses.
    • You don't rotate offensive linemen dude shown me one time thats happened for us that wasnt because of a player leaving due to injury or a jumbo package ill wait.
    • I didn't say I thought throwing it was a bad decision, I said I thought not running those 3-5 yard routes to pick up the 1st down wasn't a great call.  Yes the play worked out, but I didn't love the play call, it's like when a bad shooter is taking a 3 and you're yelling "no no no" as they're going up and then they make it so it worked out. That's still gambling on them to make the play and I take no issue with that. But I just went and watched the play again, we had T-Mac and XL running downfield crossing routes, Coker went in motion behind the LOS and then moved up a yard or two after the snap but not even past the LOS, Sanders chipped the DE and then ran a drag route right long the LOS. The play worked out, but I don't really like that particular play call and route tree with the game on the line on a 4th and 2.  If you want to send one route downfield as an option that's fine, but there were only 2 realistic target options with that route tree and they were both 15-20 yards downfield. This is just before Bryce is going to throw it.   You have 2 players off screen downfield, one player who ran a route that never had a chance to get open and didn't even get to the 1st down line, another player just at the line to gain but late in the route because of a chip (and the worst pass catcher of the 4). Do you really think that was a "good play call" in that situation?
