2003 Panther appreciation thread (Warning video may cause tears)

We not only had the players, we had the whole Mills/Fields thing as well as Hope Stout. Football is a public relations game too and the stories that go with the team are important as well. The main point of that team is that we did it as a team, there were no real superstars or genius coaching stories. Everything worked just well enough to get the squeakers won for the most part, and our trench guys were bad ass. Dan Morgan played like a psycho with no regard for the future of his body because he wanted to; stuff like that.

Low blow,....

whats worst?

This one, 1996 Green Bay NFC when we were rolling along beating the unbeatable or 2015 when we are steamrolling all the best only to get Goatfcuked?

i don’t know— 2015 probably felt like the Rams fans watching their team this year.

1996 was the first real emotions felt for the Panthers— I was watching with a lot of Marines in a land far far away with them being die hard Minni, Phili, Frisco fans...

2003,.. damn you John Kasay.

1996 NFC felt like we didn't even belong there.  We were so thoroughly manhandled that entire game.  That didn't hurt nearly as bad as either superbowl.

I became a fan during that season. It was really the first time I ever really watched football and didn't know a ton about it.

I brought that DVD and watch it every Superbowl Sunday for years, thinking for sure we'd get back and win one, because it was so easy getting there that year.

About that.....
