Stop judging guys based off what they did in a different league against inferior competition on a line featuring 3 other nfl players. Two of them better than him and garnered more attention than him. He is overrated. A below average athlete, he’s fools gold. Nobody said Barnett was bad.

Need a day one plug and play DE from this draft. This is a much needed hole to fill. Lucky this is a Dline heavy draft. Still not an easy task for Hurndog. I'd package a player and a pick to move up to get more of a sure thing.

You're right its better to judge guys by what they can do with pads off..

By this logic Stephen Hill should be Megatron 2.0... 

Oh and a lot of posters here were doing the same thing you're doing now to Barnett.. Not prototypical size, not athletic enough.. Underside DE... Yes ppl have put more faith in combine numbers beforethe and been wrong..

And people like colt Brennan exist on the opposite end of the spectrum. All time stat leaders who are fine in the college game but aren’t able to compete at the next level because hey simply aren’t good enough.  First off,Clemson regularly blew out teams so that gave them nothing to do but pen there ears back and chase sacks.

You don’t really judge a guy off just numbers but a combination of the 2 and look for traits. Just cause you got a A in high school doesn’t mean you go to college and get straight As there as well.

Did you seriously use the QB from Hawaii to make a example??? He wasn't even running a pro system to get his numbers.. Just some June Jones gimmicked up BS.. It's not the same situation.. 

 

You are basically shitting on Ferrell because he isn't Julius Peppers.. He's a good athlete for a DE but isn't a freak athlete.. Which is crazy.. If he was A freak like pep he wouldn't be at 16 in the 1st place.. But it's also not like Ferrell Is a paraplegic.. He's a good athlete for his position with the production and film to back up his 1st round status.. 

No film and college production isn't every thing but it is the most important thing.. The Combine primary use is to check the medical on the player and confirm or dispute what was on the game film..

IF he packages picks to move up with all the holes we have I will poo my pants.  Especially after week 17. SMH.
