I like nascar...Talledega  races are great

One of the few, the proud, the Nascar fans.

He went out in the 2nd period, sadly. TVR went out in the first period, the rock went out in the second period, and Saku went out in the third period.

Think Saku could be fine for the next game. TVR will be out a hot minute. Think the rock sits a few games.

Dang this team just keeps winning. That was a really fun game, the Islanders crowd is great although the Barclay’s center is a damn joke compared to the Coliseum. The injuries are tough but we should get Svech and/or Martinook back soon and maybe even Ferland... MAC was great and I’m confident in him to fill in for Mrazek for now. TVR is a tough loss but again we have good depth there wit Fleury and even Bean if necessary.

The Checkers have been a machine this year. I’d love to get a Calder Cup.

More importantly, though,  we have a legitimate shot to get to the eastern conference finals.

After tonights injuries, Charolina Checkercanes is no longer a joke.

Guys, I'm not even kidding here. Wife and I go to a new Mexican restaurant in Indian Land for dinner. We sit down and the game is in the third. I tell my wife I just keep watching them score and win, then boom, deflection goal to go up 2-1.

There's some juju going on here guys.

I think we can pull something together for your next family meal. What are you doing Wednesday evening?

    • Got to give some credit to the coaching staff on these. You can grab top talents but without good coaching, they just fizzle out. We've seen that a lot around here.
    • Oh, no TV for tonight's game unless you have the NHL Network, I believe. I could be wrong, hopefully?
    • Early returns are great and exciting but also worth noting that Gettleman had a few drafts that looked incredible early on and wound up mostly sucking (2014 mainly). Also PFF; grain of salt, etc.    I'm completely sold on Tet being a stud, knocked a high pick out of the park like we needed to and always should. Nearly sold on Scourton. Not sold on Princely but he had flashes. Not sold on Etienne as more than a 3rd stringer and special teamer, but that's not terrible for his draft position. Big fan of Ransom and think he'll be a starter.  Cam Jackson : IDK, I see limited upside but we didn't see much of him Evans was a nice find for draft position and he had a great rookie year for a late round rookie TE with plenty of veteran competition. Not sure about his upside though, seems like best case is a long term #2/3 TE, which isn't bad. Jimmy Horn, personally I didn't see a damn thing from him that impressed me all year. And he got a lot of opportunities. Pulling for the kid, but not convinced he's an NFLer.   UDFA: Fitzgerald was an amazing find
