Part 2 with Luther Broughton. Some pretty funny and insightful Panthers stories. And the ambient noise from his kids running around with SpongeBob on is a nice touch.

Hey, it’s free content. And it ain’t bad. Enjoy it.

I mean, the stories about George didn’t shock me. Some of the off-air stuff; off-the-record stuff he shared was eye opening.

The details are always the fun part. Pancakes—hey, look, who doesn’t like ‘em hot, right?

My favorite quote from Luther: “2001 felt like it lasted four years.

Appreciate it....thank you for listening.

That was a pretty well-known fact. At least from people I’ve talked to. 99 was fun, though. It just wasn’t meant to be for ol’ George.

I’m telling you, the difference between how this organization is structured now and how it was structured in 2001 is night and day. I know that’s a pretty obvious take, but it’s staggering when you sit down and think about it. George had total control of that roster.

If you want some funny/interesting Panthers stories, and just some good old fashioned football chatter, stop by and give us a listen.

It’s not a very complicated show, trust me. And, most importantly: we don’t take ourselves very seriously at all. It’s an easy listen.

A lot of football, some good laughs, and more cool guests to come.

I met Luther a couple of years ago at my kid's soccer practice.  I didn't recognize him until he mentioned he used to play for the Panthers.  Then, of course I remembered him and had a great chat about his playing days.  Super nice guy and very down to earth.

    • just read the thread. I would like to say that the team not being sold to Tepper is an absolute banger of an answer and probably the right one
    • "If you could change any one instant in Carolina Panther history, ... just ONE, ... what would it be? Initial gut reaction when I first thought of this question is Kasay kicks it in bounds on the kickoff, but unfortunately I still think New England wins that game even with that My second instinct was pulling Bene out before he breaks his leg in the playoffs. My crackpot theory is if he never gets hurt we win the superbowl. I refuse to go back and watch the game but at some point Peyton throw an absolute duck that should have been pick 6'd. but because we were on our like fifth outside corner he was slow to the ball. this would have completely flipped that game because I'm pretty sure Denver scored that drive and the next one was the Cam sack fumble
