I'm Done...

Until there is a competent starter under center, I'm done. My heart can't handle this anymore. I love Jake, but this is ridiculous. Call the redemption factor all you want, but Jake isn't gonna get better regardless of if he has a no INT game or not. Good luck, but I won't be watching the panthers this week, nor next until we have a different QB under center.

Do....dado....do.....do.............Another one bites the dust. And another one gone...........and another one gone................Another one bites the dust!........Hey I'm gonna get to you............Another one bites the dust!

People jumping off the bandwagon at 2-3 is sorry.

Good riddance.

+1 (even though we are 2-4 not 2-3) I was here through 1-15, I can take 2-14 if need be.....especially if the results our similar to the last terrible season we had. All the people saying they will do something else on Sundays, enjoy yourself but it's hard enough for me to get through the summer much less football season without seeing the Carolina Panthers in action on Sunday. If it's bad football the rest of the year so be it but I will still cheer my ass off every Sunday for them.

I watched every game of the 1-15 season, but at least they were competitive and kept the games close. This year, there's nothing exciting to keep people watching.

How about how good the defense has been the last 3 games thats not a positive. Sorry but we are playing better D then we have in 3 yrs it may just be because of the level of competition we will begin to find out next week. Personally I'm enjoying watching Peppers give a sh*t for the first time in several years. I've also been thoroughly enjoying watching Beason and Davis play beside each other.

This is really what pisses me off about this season. Not the losses (they piss me off also but not that much) but the boring games. I want to watch exciting games like last season not the stagnant offense we have this season. D-Will is exciting nearly every time he touches the ball, but it's not enough.

All to be f**ked away by Jake and we're down by 20+ points.

have fun doing whatever you're going to do. me, i'll watch the game with my buddies, have a few drinks, toss a football around at halftime, and have a good time... if we win, i'll jump up and down, if we lose, i'll shrug and roll with it because i expected it in the first place.

my support and indulgence in the team is not contingent on their winning every game.

This.

Losses were heartbreaking last year, this year they're expected. I'll still be glued to the tube on Sunday.

Adios to those of you who care not what the rest of the season will be.

    • I originally hated the Miller deal but with the cap projected to rise nearly $10M next season the Canes struck some pretty good deals between Miller and Ehlers. Most of the team is locked in for the next few years. Nikishin will need an extension probably in the $6M AAV range. And Blake will need one if we don’t move him. Personally I’d move Blake, picks, and any prospect not named Nikishin/Nadeau/Artamonov for McTavish as I don’t see any any of the big time players moving teams next year. Realistically the Hurricanes should just target Gustavsson next year to fix the goal tending issue. But I’m all for moving Blake, picks, and prospects for McTavish this year. Ehlers - Aho - Jarvis Svechnikov - McTavish - Stankoven Martinook - Staal - Carrier Hall - Kotkaniemi - Robinson Jost - Jankowski Slavin - Miller Nikishin - Chatfield Gostisbehere - Walker Reilly Andersen Kochetkov I’d do Blake, Felix-Unger-Sorum, and 27 2nd for McTavish.
    • Very true on the length but stuff like this is never where we shine. We aren’t a good team at drafting.
    • Homerism aside, the more I see from Dan, the more impressed I am.  His player evaluation instincts. Last year his 2 premier FA signings, Hunt and Lewis COMPLETELY changed the line and I have a feeling his success in choosing blue chip guys will continue.  Look at the panthers’s rep for FA signings in the past. By and large, it’s been guys 1 year past their prime who had an injury and suckered our GM in to a crippling contract. We never get nice things. When was the last time this team signed 2 young blue chip studs  in the same offseason to contracts worthy of their impact? Ever?  Im telling y’all, players respect and trust Morgan.
