Kaep isn't an option because he wont play for back up money.

Bridgewater and Beathard aren't getting cut.  And aren't worth trading for.

Hoyer? Peterman? Glennon?

No thanks.  None of those are worth cutting Allen/Grier for.

Every 49ers 53 man roster prediction has the 9ers keeping him.  Between Shanahan outright saying just days ago "we are keeping 3 qbs" coupled with Jimmy G looking bad.  I don't expect they are going to give up a back up they like.

If Cam gets hurt were going 3-13 and strongly considering drafting a QB in the first round anyways so I guess this backup talk doesnt mean much anyways

They may not, but I wouldn't be surprised if we tried to convince them.

To be fair, I also wouldn't be surprised if we went into the season with exactly what we have.

It does if your name is Ron Rivera or Marty Hurney.

They're not guaranteed to survive a bad season.

Its not that I am against CJ.  Its more that Jimmy G just being injured combined with his absolutely horrible preseason/training camp play.  I don't think the 49ers are going to be quick to move on from a back up unless someone over pays.

He will argue with every last person who posts anything because that’s all the hell he does on here. He’ll also quote this post and reply with that same gif, because he thinks it’s funny to post the same gif repeatedly which is great, because no one else thinks it’s funny at all.
