Is Cam Newton Washed?

Yes he is washed up actually.  Its not his fault though because he headed down that road the moment when they stopped letting him run, which in itself is REALLY complicated.  The league won't protect a running QB.  Cam started to get injuries. So I understand the sentiment.  But I'm ready to move on from Cam to be honest.  There are only two kinds of QB's in the world.  QB's who are good enough to win the Superbowl with and QB's who are not.   The read option QB Cam is good enough to win the Superbowl if he stays healthy, the Pocket QB Cam isn't.  He doesn't miss it by much but he's just not quite good enough.

Cam Newton is good enough to win a Superbowl.  Be glad he isn't luck and just walking after all the injuries he's already took.  Here's the thing dude.

If your quarterback has ever won an NFL MVP award, he's a good QB.  that is Cam.  It was a bad game.  Holler at me if they start the year 0-3

People just got some bone to pick with cam, Matt Ryan, baker mayfield ect all played like blended ass today, it’s one game against a playoff team that came down to the wire

Ryan sacked 4 times today. The Crows points were all in garbage time.

Cam plays better when the team isn't behind and the defense doesn't know we are passing every down.

They put themselves in that situation and it was pretty unfortunate.  The turnovers were a big deal

And none of those guys will win a SB. That’s the issue. Like Cam, those guys are “good enough” but they will always disappoint.

Without cmc, this team would never score. A championship caliber has a QB that is able to score without a generational running back.

I don't disagree that he is good enough to win, but please remember.... we got to that Superbowl with Cam RUNNING!  That's my point.  If you take away the threat of the run completely he's just OK.  Not horrible and ALMOST! good enough to win the Superbowl but not quite IMO.

He misses too many throws in crucial moments of the games.  If Cam is like the $5 that overdrafts a broke college kids bank account.  $5 isn't a lot of money but it is when you've only got $4 in the bank.  Other QB's miss throws too, but they don't miss the ones they HAVE to have.

The year Cam won the MVP was an outlier....take out that year , then take out his worse year and that is who Cam truly is.
