I love Cam.. I hope I'm wrong as well... sad day and possible end if an era

I don't mind kissing Cam but not like this. Not with him unraveling but leaving on a high note. Healthy and able to play at high level. Cam should have left after rookie contract was up. Now he may not even get another contract. Leave on your on don't be another Vick. Nobody want u QB.

well.

Honestly guys, I think i've gotten my dick kicked for the last time.  I mean,  watching this game felt like getting my balls stuck in a revolving door.  it was brutal.

It has become the time... to go heel.

Lets fire everyone today.  Give me one reason not to.  We were a team that was favored by a touchdown tonight, and we lost by 6.  This is unacceptably disappointing.  The hardest thing to rationalize is this..

Was this Cam's fault?  or was it the coaching staff?

Honestly, IDFC.    I don't.   This was a must-win game and we came out flat.  and looked like sh*t.

I HAVE DEFENDED RON, AND CAM FOR THE LAST HALF DECADE.

I'm serious.  I have.  Look at my old posts.  but alas... eventually your heroes turn to villains.  your supporters turn into defilers.  Your ex goes to tinder and bangs like 20 dudes back to back to "rebound".

I'm done guys.  Ron has to go.  It's time.  I'll reminisce about these times for the rest of my days.  I used to play hootie on the guitar and Ron sang the vocals.  Made some sweet grooves and almost went somewhere....

but this has become a clown show.

Rivera needs to go.  Honestly just for the mere fact of sending cam a lesson that if you play poorly, the ones you care about suffer.  Isn't that life?

If you fu*k up at your job enough... doesn't someone eventually suffer?

yeah bro, I'm done.  Ron has to go.  Norv might have to go too.  that 4th down play was terrible.  There was no excuse for the loss tonight, no matter how you shake it.

Hate to go heel, but it's become the time.

Here's to change ya'll.

The Rams game we looked unfocused, undisciplined, poorly coached.

This game we looked like we were trying really hard and we just weren’t good. Greg is old. Cam is older than his age suggests and has had multiple shoulder surgeries. Our oline can’t hold their blocks and Cam can’t get the blitzes picked up.

That and Cam looks completely neutered. Looks like he doesn’t take joy in the game. Some of you wanted that. Because that’s what QBs are supposed to be. But it’s clear that Cam is not good without his swagger. I don’t think he believes in his head he can make the throws anymore. When he came into the league he thought he could do anything. Our thoughts manifest in our actions. I think he’s been beat up and demoralized.

The years of the coaching staff and FO not putting good pieces around him, slowing him down, not ever letting him get into a rhythm and find himself as a passer of the football, plus the injuries. He’s rarely given the ability to get to the line with plenty of time, read the defense call out blitzes and assign personnel to pick them up, audible. His whole career he’s been asked to get to the line with a few seconds remaining and run the play call. You look at teams with good olines every year, teams like NE and NO. It’s not just personnel. It’s personnel, plus coaching/development, plus playcalling, plus the QB putting everybody in a position to execute that play call pre-snap, or audibling out if they can’t. We’re missing all of those except the personnel, so it’s no wonder why we can never seem to field a decent oline.

And I would be remiss if I didn’t say something about the way the refs and media treat Cam. It’s learned helplessness. I’m sure he feels like there is absolutely nothing he can do to be treated fairly by the refs and the media. Doesn’t matter what he does or says, it will all be villanized and/or mocked. And he’s right. It doesn’t matter how old he is, or if he’s a league MVP, refs will not call him or this team fairly. And he’s right. And nothing is done about it, and the team that is supposed to stand behind him, the one that he is supposed to be proud to be a part of, is going to keep that NFL shield at midfield. And all of this has taken its toll on Cam.

Putting a generational talent such as Cam Newton’s fate in the hands of Ron Rivera and the Panthers organization for this many years is an absolute travesty..

It seems like you’ve accurately diagnosed the situation

    • Why? AI already taking jobs, running up power bills, drinking all the water and just bad for the environment but hey lest try to shoehorn another useless way to use it.
    • I'm going rogue in R1 but there's so much confusion around us. Last year, we were going Walker or Williams and caught folks off guard with TMac. The previous year we LOVED Legette and it was no surprise when his name was called. This year, I think we nail three areas that weren't totally addressed in FA.  R1 - Kayden McDonald Full disclosure, I want Thienemann here, but think he goes before 19. Some might see an "overdraft" but McDonald unlocks so many people on our D. Having a DT the caliber of McDonald let's Lloyd, Wallace and the newly drafted Hill flood the offensive backfield. Also opens up Moehrig and our EDGES to eat. Lastly, it also removes all the pressure on DB to be the primary facilitator in the trenches and A'Shawn will be missed. I don't care about Turk. McDonald is the only true DT worth of a R1 grade and Morgan seals up our trenches here w/ a kid from a blue blood school. R2 - Anthony Hill Jr *trade up*  I love JRod, but think a smart team takes him at the end of R1 (Seattle, NE w/ two d-minded coaches). Hill, Jr is a beast and lost in the shuffle with all the Styles/Allen/Rodriguez hype. He and Lloyd with DB and McDonald up front and flanked by Scourton/Phillips is nasty.  R3 - Hecht/Lew/Center du jour Let's stop the madness with ignoring this position in the draft. We need one and should start normalizing the capital invested in our OL with someone on a draft contract. He won't need to start day 1, but I think the right selection will push for starter reps. R4 - Bud Clark Not sure if he's here in R4 where we pick, but would fit the "type" of FS/roamer that we need opposite Moehrig and Ransom. Allows us to run 3-safety looks and really keep teams guessing with personnel packages. R5 - Kendrick Law The kind of WR we need. IDK if he's any different than Horn, Jr or Metchie but Law could be a dart throw that brings a deep threat to our WR corps I'm guessing one of the R5 picks is used to move up in R2 along with a '27 day 3 pick.   Post-draft, I sign Njoku to bring in a vet at TE. I'm also keeping my eyes open for pre-week 1 team cuts for a young CB that we could bring in to maybe plan for Mike Jack's departure next year. Flame away.... I know the McDonald pick will not make people happy.
    • Classic example on what AI is not currently good for.  It will create a baseline of statistics (which are fine but must be used alongside tape and other evals) and partner that with every rumor mongering dips*&$t on the web.
