But somehow Moore has been pretty damn good consistently

Nearly all those passes were over or under thrown.  Hard to say whos fault it is I guess but Kyle Allen has not been the most accurate passer this season, as much as everyone on here is ready for him to be the starter over a healthy Cam Newton

Curtis Samuel has never been that great. He’s a nice piece to move around in the offense. He’s a little bit of a Swiss Army knife player. But my expectation was never too high. He’s a nice complementary piece, but he’s a marginal number two, and he’s definitely not a number one. Again, he’s a good player. Just not elite.

By the way, nobody with a brain in their head wants Kyle Allen to be the starter over a healthy Newton. I think a lot of that being drummed up by people on Twitter and on the national media front. It’s a silly narrative that’s gotten out of hand.

Allen suck but Samuel is a bust.

My thing is it's hard to judge samuel. He is still fairly new to being just a wide out. His bread and butter is the deep ball but we haven't been able to get it to him. Is he catching the 5 yard outs and intermediates... not really but he was never suppose to be that guy. Guy is a deep threat with no deep threat thrower to even see if he can catch those. There is hope tho, Ted Ginn was in a similar situation corner/ part time wr who was picked like 8/9th in the draft.

He was bounced around and cut right up until we signed him and it took that long for him to look....well like the Ginn we know now.

I’m tired of the excuses. All I keep hearing is “Samuel is a deep threat”. All of that is being based off fans thinking he has “speed”. Will someone please show me where and when has he displayed being a “deep threat”. Bc he wasn’t that at OHIO STATE either. Samuel is exactly who is he when we drafted him: a rb slashed wr. A dexter mccluster type of what used to be called “offensive weapon”. All those OW guys eventually turn busts

I had absolutely hoped he could be. Early on it had a very convenient appeal and had a glimmer of hope. Getting 2015 Newton back is far from guaranteed

You answered it with the statement before. Speed. He gets open on those deep routes because not everyone can keep up with 4.31. He doesn't have to be the best route runner at that point. But the passes have to be catchable. I do agree with your assessment of slash and mccluster tho. They did bust... this is just what hes second year really.. not sure if we have seen enough.

Samuel is dynamic when he has the ball in his hands... it is just very hard to get the ball in his hands in ways that aren't obvious or outside the skill set of our current set of offensive players.  That, and the fact he catches something like fewer than 50% of the balls going his way... heh.

The fact that you're still screaming about this despite being shown video evidence to the contrary shows that you're not interested in being informed as much as you are interested in being emotional.

There are a bunch of fast straight line 40yd dash guys wearing short in the league. There are only a hand full of guys who are actually fast on the field playing football.

    • They are 1 and 9 against the  Bucs in the past 10 games. the Panthers go as young goes.  QB1 ‘s are suppose to dictate and overcome  and elevate Everything the QB does affects every part of the team and Bryce is uneven. Canales and Bryce have  an uneven relationship too  as for Evero, the only thing that might save him is the injury to Baker’s left shoulder and oline injuries. I don’t even know how he is out there   I really feel their season ended last Sunday Canales’ division record isn’t great   Getting owned by the Saints and Bucs isn’t a good look
    • Frankly surprised by the amount of people that want to hang Evero. This was a defense that was almost universally considered the bottom of the barrel before this season started. We’ve managed to stat our way to the middle of the pack whatever that means. Those critical of the zone schemes, what do you want? When even JC is getting burnt one on one by Olave you have little choice. There definitely have been moments where the zone blitz stuff has bit us. That said, are the third string linebackers (and nick Scott) covering poo anyway? This unit had only conceded 10 points going into the fourth quarter despite a litany of bullshit penalties on both sides. Them over performing is the biggest reason we are still in playoff contention.
