complimenting Kyle is not a slight on Cam

I disagree.  I can't remember off hand but didn't they go on to score a TD off of that fumble?

their score just put the game away.

By the fourth quarter the panthers offensive line was done.

if you go back and rewatch the game, knowing what we know now, you can see things falling apart in the first quarter.

We just don't have the lines on both offense or defense to beat good teams.

what are the positives? i see a guy who turns it over too often for the value he provides otherwise and does not push the ball down the field. he has a deceptive completion percentage and while i think there are some intermediate throws that he’s pretty good at, at this level you can say things like that about any quarterback. maybe we were spoiled by cam’s pocket management over the years in spite of the poo lines he’s had to deal with and it’s causing unfair expectations for allen but i can’t even say something like that in defense of kyle without hearing the steady roar of hundreds of f150s because for so many posters kyle is a proxy for cam hate. this forum is no less readable than it was in 2015 really. we’ve just moved on from trying to discount healthy cam’s performance to trying to portray his backup as something he’s not. i personally don’t want to be saddled with a poo quarterback for the next half decade, especially at the expense of a needed rebuild. that’s what this is about. i’m not convinced tepper is smart enough to navigate this situation.

the endzone interception was horrific. no one is going to defend that. the midfield fumble, we don't know what happened. It's entirely possible paradis just pegged himself which I'm not here to kink shame.

As far as Kyle the the player and his turnovers, i see a player who has DRAMATICALLY improved how he handles the ball compared to his first few starts this season. Today and against the titans he took several sacks where he would have fumbled earlier in the season. That's just part of learning to play with defenders around you, which most QBs don't experience on college anymore.

you sort of discount his intermediate game, but that was exactly what cam struggled with his entire career in carolina, unless youre Saca and you're inventing statistics to back up your beliefs.

4 completed passes 20 or more yards against GB.

Where is the deep ball game if Cam and his shoulder was the problem holding our offense back? We don't lack speed.

For those on the Huddle incapable of thinking for themselves it’s either;

1) you like Cam... you’re a Cam nut hugger

2) you like Kyle... you’re a racist and are hugging his nuts

Those two groups are the loudest on here unfortunately. Hell one of them posted the first post in this thread

it's a combination of:

1. Kyle's lack of experience

2. Playcalls

3. CMC being the best player on the team

Those three things don't mean anything for the problems Cam was dealing with.
