No reason not to sign Kaepernick now

With Allen sucking ass, that should clear the way to sign Kaep. Make this season one to remember instead of yet another 7-9 mediocrefest.

While I agree he can't be any worse than Allen has been, why bother signing him when we have a 3rd round draft pick that was a legitimate contender for the Heisman sitting on the bench?  Grier needs the reps.

The team owner saying that we're not interested in him is kind of a reason.

Yeah, I'm not an advocate for or against but local radio had Keaps lawyer in there saying you'll hear something in a week or so but a team that just lost real badly and who's owner doesn't give a sht is one of two teams in play. Again, just the messenger. They played clips of the lawyer talking on another show, just to clarify here. (Edit was screwy)

I still think a guy like that who is hungry and has been three years fresh who needs a way back in, a guy like that behind Cam would be a positive.

Trade Allen before his rep takes another hit. Run this guy as a backup getting his game back while Cam starts. If you sign Cam good Kaep is a very good trade piece by then. Grier is taking it all in getting his game together all the while.

Kaepernick's lawyer also said someone from within the NFL was going to "expose the truth" sometime back.

I'd take what he says with a grain of salt.
