Defensive backs are really hit and miss. He also drafted our two best corners in franchise history as well.

I don't think many posters here realize how difficult drafting is, and how poorly the average GM drafts. Busts happen more often than not with draft selections.

well he's been GM of the team for more than half of the years of its existence. I would hope he's drafted damn near the top 1-2 of almost every position on the field, man. and he's done a good job drafting in a lot of ways, but he keeps failing on these DBs, and especially borderline athletes with a history of position changes.

I think you may be onto something.

It was the 1st question in his presser yesterday and here is how he answered Rodrigue:

"Just a football decision, making what we felt was a good decision for the football team and the young man..."

He didn't draft Eric Davis, only Chris Gamble.

That's only half sarcasm, Josh Norman was good for exactly 1.5 seasons of his NFL career and this fanbase still pines after him like he was the second coming of Deion Sanders.

At this point, Josh Norman's career is more similar to Gary Barnidge than Patrick Peterson. 1 great year surrounded by a bunch of mediocrity.

Josh Norman was a product of the 2015 team, not the other way around.
