I've been begging for an elite safety for a long time, but if we don't rebuild the trenches an elite safety isn't going to help us much making tackles 10+ yards downfield.

Yeah, QB specifically.  WR wise not.  

If LSU has a top QB they will be Alabama dominant for a while.

Hurney has been to two LSU games this year and that is a fact

If we are breaking down players Delpit has injury concerns and is a SS in a CBs body.  Might be better options out there.  Just IMO.

They’ve always recruited well since they basically own the state of Louisiana which is a talent hot bed only outpaced by Florida, Texas, California and Georgia and can dip into Texas to supplement but Coach O has turned it up a notch and now they recruit at the Bama/Clemson level.

Every division outside of the FBS has a legit playoff format. The final four type setup is certainly better but you're always going to end up with a few teams with a legit argument being left out. That's always the case with any playoff system but unlike say the basketball tournament where if you can't make a 64 team field just shut up you have no chance, the 5th or 6th ranked team in the country absolutely could have a chance in a little of seasons.

Remember when some said adding the extra game for the playoffs vs BCS would do this?

 

I extra game to make 8 teams wont make a difference.  And thats what it should be
