We've moved from 12 to 11 so far today. Falcons , Cowboys, Cardinals all playing right now. Colts play on Monday night. We play the Colts next weekend. Lot of this can change quite a bit in the last 2 weeks of the season considering a lot of the records are so close in terms of W-L.

Lot is riding on if we beat or lose to the Colts IMO.

1. Bengals (1-13)

2. Redskins (3-11)

3. Giants (3-11)

4. Dolphins (3-11)

5. Lions (3-10)

6. Cardinals (3-9-1)

7. Jaguars (4-9)

8. Falcons (4-9)

9. Jets (5-9)

10. Broncos (5-9)

11. Panthers (5-9)

12. Chargers (5-8)

13. Raiders (6-7)

14. Colts (6-7)

15. Cowboys (6-7)

16. Browns (6-7)

wow that is some bullshit... changing who gets the ball during half time without alerting one of the teams is some total bias bullshit.

so for those not watching the cowboys-rams shitshow, Dallas won the coin toss and Prescott said they wanted "to kick."  The ref confirmed, Dak said yes, they want to kick.  Then, Dak clarified they wanted to defer; but the ref didn't seem to hear that.  So the Rams were told they would get the ball at the start of the game - and at the start of the 2nd half.  Dumb!

But then, New York reviewed the coin toss during the half and awarded Dallas the 2nd half kickoff, without telling the teams what was going on.  So LA came out expecting to receive the kick.  And it may have influenced LA's strategy at the end of the first half too.

Just bullshit.

That whole thing was an absolute mess.

I get that Dallas *should* receive the 2nd half kickoff, but that decision should have been made in the first quarter, not during half time without alerting the Rams.

edit: the announcers also implied the Cowboys knew they'd get the ball to start the 2nd half too..

    • Sounds encouraging.  I agree about the LB....I was CERTAIN second round would be a LB.  I would also like to add that, on paper, DL looked solid--but only 1 performed well in 2025 (2 if you count Robinson, who is now gone).  I am guessing they feel that the LB play will improve with the improvement up front--logical.  Remember the old rule (not sure who said it first) "You build from the inside out, front to back."   We drafted, in my early opinion, a starting NT and C this year.  inside out, front to back.
    • Agree--I think a mid-level tackle but he could prove to be an elite G--not sure how he would do at RT--or maybe Freeling---lotta moving parts--but I would look at him at G if mid-level T is his ceiling--he has been improving, but the injury..
    • Worked an event that many players were at including Ickey. Talked to him, looks and walks around good/normal. Taylor Moton released a new Tequila with his partner Matt Kahlil. Taylor looks great and is psyched for the season. He's such a good guy. Even Derrick Brown, very focused. It's like a quiet, calm I'm gonna rip through you confidence. Building his forever home and sticking around CLT. Bryce stopped in, but was upbuilding talking to the guys, not drinking, smoking cigars like others. There was little different aura with them, almost a quiet confidence, some fun. Reminded me of the 2013-2018 era. Had an event Tuesday with TD (he was there last night too) and he thinks the team looks real good, maybe just needs an another LB. He loves the Devin Lloyd pick up.  No negative comments, just giving a nice update on some players.
