Chiefs Claim Terrell Suggs

Always liked Suggs game. There could be a return to playoff form and something the Chief's D definitely needs.

He's made clear he wouldn't play for anyone but the Ravens.

They only claimed him to keep Baltimore from getting him back.

I forget where Deion was trying to go. The Cowboys, maybe?

Interestingly enough, the Ravens didn't put in a claim. Besides the Chiefs, the Saints, 49ers and Seahawks did.

Speculation is the Ravens might have thought he'd clear, or maybe figured that since they were last in the order there was no point.

Sounds like Suggs may have changed his mind after the Ravens failed to put in a claim on him.

Kind of a dick move by the Chiefs to claim him, but honestly it's an even bigger dick move by the Ravens not to submit a claim.

Not like he hid the fact he wanted to go back to the Ravens.

It probably pissed him off a lot more that after very publicly making his intentions clear that the Ravens didn't even bother to submit a claim.

How would the Ravens putting in a claim changed anything though .. KC is still before them in the order, so even if the Ravens did put in a claim, it would still require Suggs not reporting to KC

Had the Ravens put in a claim and the Chiefs essentially blocked them from getting him, I'd say there would be at least a decent chance he would've been pissed off enough to not report. But with the Ravens not even bothering, I'd say there's a pretty decent chance he'll go ahead and report and suit up, because fug them for not even bothering to put in a claim when he made it known to the entire world that he wanted to go back to B-more and try to help them win this SB.
