We basically have to keep drafting tackles until the line stabilizes. The only question is are we going to draft a tackle in the 1st round, or later? I think we're going to take one with the 7th pick, but anything can happen. Little has the body to play either tackle position, but he's green and looked pretty bad at times, not to mention his concussion issues. We need a plug and play LT right now, not a project. That means if one of the top 3 tackles is there Hurney will take him imo. I wouldn't, but I'm not Hurney.

Balanced take. I can't pass up on someone like Thomas bc he'd be legit from day one. but i also see the value in pass defense in our division and a shutdown corner potential dude would be invaluable and those are hard to find too. Panthers have options

I’m fine with Isaiah Simmons at 7 but not Delpit. And that’s based on assuming that Simmons’ stock don’t fall from now and the draft

If Okudh was on the board at 7th you would pass on the best CB.

I like how everyone acts like KK and poe didn’t get injured this year. DT is not a need  bc your starting DTs got hurt. Just means more ignorant fans will have bad opinions. Now, if we cut poe (which would save us some $), Derrick brown is a monster who is love to have. Certainly not a need though.

Simmons is versatile sure, but is that really what we need? Eric Reid and shaq Thompson are both SS/ OLB tweeners. How about we get someone that can play one position really well, instead of multiple positions ok? Okudah makes much more sense though there’s a good shot he’s not there at 7. Also some nice corner options in the early second though with C.J. Henderson and AJ Terrell. Both 6’1 prototypical build. Also have to find a starting LG this offseason, draft or otherwise. I wouldn’t give up on our two sophomore LTs yet, but there’s some nice talent in early first there as well and we really need to secure a good franchise LT. Judge Jeudy and king ceedeedee are both top 10 locks as well, but a new shiny toy at wr won’t help much. Qbs obviously not in play, to the dismay of all the cam haters

WR Ceedee Lamb or  DE Epenesa. High pick premium position

Lamb with DJ and Samuel!?! What?

it wouldnt matter if we had 4 prime Jerry Rice clones on our team if we continue to trot out a piss poor product of an oline that cant protect the QB

    • Last night was the classic example of a visiting team just holding on through the wave of emotion a home team has at the start of a big time game. Bama’s first two kickoff returns really set them back as far as playcalling and allowed OU to dictate field position. The emotion of the home crowd fed into what OU was doing at that point, and it felt like Bama would not be able to overcome that.     Once the kickoff returner was told to fair catch every kick, the game shifted, as Bama wasn’t starting each drive inside their own 15. It was then that Bama was able to make some plays, outscoring OU 34-7 the rest of the way.  I think the last 3/4 of the game proves Bama was the better team. OU was just able to ride the initial wave of emotion to a big lead, but Bama held on just enough.  However, had OU blocked the punt on Bama’s second drive and scored a TD (vice a FG on the ensuing drive), things likely would have been different.  Anyway, Roll Tide!
